I think Reach is a great game. I think the reason some are disappointed is because it is really different then Halo 3. Halo 3 was a lot like Halo 2 and everyone loved that. The change that happened from Halo 3 to Reach was more then some like I think. I think one of the major reason is Bungie took away the ranking system. You have more fun playing to get that 50 and without that what are you fighting for? I just think people did not like the big changes is all. Can't say Halo Reach is not good.

@ddixon0417 i am a really big halo fan, and i was not disappointed in the slightest with Reach... the whole campaign made me tear up a bit to be honest, the multiplayer gameplay is much more intense and skillful than 3's. that right there is why people dont like it as much. it still has the best custom games, granted it is a bit more complicated to set up. the forge is more epic than ever, and the firefight is still sick to play with your friends when they are over. i think the change is better

@spartankiller369 I did too man, the campaign is crazy good and sad. The new DMR I think owns the BR and gives you complete control. It makes you become a better player and when people don't like that they just go straight to saying Halo Reach isn't good. They say reach sucks and Black Ops is better. Always. I love the changes to Reach, I think that the overall game is exactly what should have happened.

I know what you mean. There is nothing strikingly obvious for a reason why I dislike the game.... Yet I do anyway... I'm pretty good at it, but I never enjoy it, it's simply not fun. You could say that mechanically, Halo 3 was the 'worst' of the series. But from an entertainment perspective, Reach is by far the 'worst'.

Let's just hope MLG can have a huge impact once again, although this time, they are working with terrible starting maps.

I was the same the first week or so Brysi. I soo wanted to go back to Halo3, but i've stuck with Reach and its slowly growing on me. I went from H1 to 2 to 3 no problem, i enjoyed each and every new version. But Reach is a different beast and it has not grabbed me by the balls right away. I'm sticking with it though, more for the fun custom nights i have more than the competitive matchmaking that got me into Halo3 soo much. Stick with the Halo series Bryan, stick with it mate ;)

Bryan, once Black Ops come out everyone will play that and everyone will leave Halo:Reach. I'm going to stay true to Halo:Reach and as everyone is playing that I'm going to keep practicing and getting better. Then once a lot of people come back to play Halo:Reach I'll be pwnin. Also, try changing your sensitivity. For a while I was playing like trash and getting really mad and then I changes my sensitivity to1-2 and It all came back to me. Try out lower sensitivities. then get back to me. =)

bryan the problem is every one that played halo 3 goofed off in custom games all day matchmaking has been way overplayed in the first moth of reach and people need to spend some time in forge and unlcock the custom games secrets so what im saying is work on custom games and play matchmaking only 1/4 of your reach playing time

you know one major defect of reach? rumble pit = if safe havens is listed, almost everyone votes for it, any form of slayer = if SWAT shows up, EVERYBODY (but myself) votes for it, sniper game types are almost equivalent too. i thank god SWAT is getting its own playlist and woont be in slayer becuase SWAT is probably my most hated game mode

Hey bryan, quick tip for you in reach, if your using DMR don't just rapidly press the trigger instead try to give like a half second between presses when you spam the trigger, the weapon bloom becomes way inaccurate, as for actual gameplay i don't know what playlist you play in but try to avoid rumble pit, they always choose infection and camp, big team is where i go, or if you have a party with some friends try team slayer or team objective, love the songs and vids. take care SAGE 219

Honestly Brian, I'm patiently waiting for the community to unleash it's full power. Back in April I decided to pre order, when I was filling out the form, I decided to buy copies for my entire group. It was $45 with free release day delivery so I got 6 Copies.

The guys made me promise not to play until the weekend when we were going to have a lan party.

Friday Night, show up, sealed box of reach. Everyone breaks out a copy and its straight to campign.

Thats where it got bad, the gameplay was too serious, it didnt have that "Bungieish" goofing around feel, it was too, "I'm here to win" and not enough "Hey, Watch this!" That was our feeling with it.

Then wewent to customs, and there was the old Halo feel, the, "Lets jump off of spire, hijack a falcon and crash into a cliff" fun.

Reach will be harder to get into than Halo 3 was.Because there a big changes to its gameplay.halo 3 multiplayer was the same as Halo 2's but with better graphics.The armor customization in Halo 3 sucked,while in Reach it is awesome.Armor abilities are better than equpment.And thank you god for taking away the horrible BR.MLG gamers are all bitching that there only way to get a kill is taken out of reach.DMR is way more balanced tnen the BR.There is also a new update in oct that fixes things
