@nijman The flag does not mean anthing, it's symbolic becaus he is the president of iraq so he must put that flag there. But don't forget when Moussad Barzani said we should have peace with saddam it was then Mam Jalal who started the PUK to stay fighting iraq and saddam. PUK stands for Patrotic Union of Kurdistan. @ikweetnietook I am afraid you are wrong about the flag. Of course it means a lot!! the old flag with the 3 stars symbolises a relation/support to the Ba'ath party. As you remember, the party that killed many Kurdish. And the new flat without the 3 stars is the accepted new flag of Iraq. So, the columbian university would have done well, to replace the old flag with the new one from the last 5 yrs or so.
