  • You went to France!? You're my hero dude!

  • While we are waiting for Shaun and Peter to come up with a new episode, here is a little 30s magic clip i shot to entertain u guys... hope u enjoy...

  • Wow man, is that real? Or a video trick? Either way, looked pretty convincing! :)

  • No, dude, its not a video trick, it's "slight of finger".. seriously, no video editing...

  • Awesome!

  • do u think u guys could also explain 'how do pr0n?' with all those special angles and close-ups and all.

    that would be sweet.

  • Hah, sounds like a good idea! ;)

  • hey dude!

where did you get your clapboard?

i have one but its breaking.

i saw yours and it looks good.

  • I got it from The Writer's Store in LA. I think they have a website, too (try googling them).

  • oh thanks cuz i got this one from amazon that the back bolt fell out.

has yours ever got messed up?

  • Nope, it's held up really well for all these years. Check out GoMediaMonkey too - they have a lot of different slates.

  • oh ok.

because my bolt came off and i taped it and made it hellof ghetto

  • Hehe, yeah you need a new one. They have some pretty crazy ones nowadays that actually sync up to camera's timecode and everything.

  • yea but those are like 1000s of dollars.

do you no of anyone sites besides gomediamonkey?

  • Hmm, Ebay? Amazon?

  • i got one from amazon and it sucks

  • Glad to hear it! I will definitely keep tuned in.

  • WEWT KEEP THEM COMIN!!

  • yea, too many movie reviews. i want more film making educational videos!!! thanks guys!

  • do you guys know how I would be able to edit a video format flv?

how would i transfer that to a mpg, avi?

    thanks.

  • Sure, what editing software are you using? Most automatically let you edit flv files, you're most likely just missing a codec. Do a Google search for K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (it'll be the second or third result - on Codecguide).

  • movie maker for the time being.

do you guys know of a another one for windows thats possibly free?

  • Can't wait for the new episodes guys!

  • I'm glad you guys are gonna be doing this again. I plan on being a filmmaker in the future, but I have crap so far. Just a few crap films I made years back, but now I wanna try to make some new films, and I'll use what I learned from you guys to try to make my films even better.

  • Thats great news cant wait

  • what videocamera did you use in this ?

you guys said you got a new camera a while back but i dont remember what it was ?

  • Yep we got a Sony PMW-EX1 - and we love it!

  • oh thats cool i want to get a panny dvx100b

  • That's the camera we sold to buy our Sony, hehe. But it was a very good camera, too.

  • whyd you sell it ?

isnt that sony like 7 grand?

and how old are you guys?

  • We sold it because we wanted to upgrade to HD as well as solid state (versus tapes). And yes, it was nearly $7k.

I'll be 23 next week and Peter will be 24. How old are you?

  • im a youngster to you guys.

    i am 15.

why didnt you get a sony hvr-v1u thats hd?

did you guys make movies when you guys were 15?

  • That's cool. The earlier you start, the better :)

The EX1 actually has a much better sensor, can shoot in native progressive mode, and (possibly most importantly) shoots onto solid state flash drives. We can shoot a whole episode in 1080p and upload it in under 5 minutes! Our work flow is much faster now.

  • oh i see what was your first camera you had?

  • Yep! We sold it to YouTube user: IndustrialismFilm

  • oh i did't meen that.

what was your first videocamera when you were a my age or a younger?

  • yeah i would defenitly invest in one of those. but great sound. you can notice i am really obsessed with sound haha. its half your video!

  • what mic were you using in the car? it was really great sound quality.

  • That was our brand new Sennheiser MKH-60 :)

Though, as I'm sure you noticed, we really need to get a windscreen.

  • hahahahahhaahah loved the cheesy ending

    high five!

  • hey u guys should check out my latest clip. its the matrix 360 degree attempt. it was pretty simple and made a pretty neat outcome

  • brap brap

  • brap brap braaaaaaaaaaaap!

  • you guys give good advice, however a little advice try being more relaxed you guys are kinda like robots at times. But I do enjoy your stuff.

  • That is some good advice. I'm thinking about taking an acting class, might do me some good.

  • yeah but is what is like the whole akward comedy part to it. its like standup a little bit.

  • it's hilarious the way it is haha

  • yeah but in a good way so dun worry S&P

  • Hahaha, the ending was kinda cheesy, it's great to have you back though. Welcome back :)

  • Definitely intentional :D

Worked on your script any more?

  • Yep, added like 2 pages. Still trying to figure out how to add more action and less dialogue though. You'll see it when I'm confident enough to send :)

  • nice to see you're making a comeback guys!

  • Hello Sean, i dont know if you are also into fotography but i wanted to know your opinion, i Have a Nikon D40x and i was thinking about changing it but i noticed the D80 has exactly the same features. so what should i get ???take care

  • Hey, actually I am into photography. Though, I'm completely a Canon guy. I have a Rebel XT, 40d, and a G9 (and I love them all).

I hear a lot of people like the D40 over the D40x, though. And I think the D80 is a slightly higher quality body with the newer lens mount. How come you're going with Nikon, may I ask?

  • well, i bought the D40x because it has the compact body of the d40 but has 12 megapixels, shoots 3 frames per second, and has 7 focus points, its basically the same "software" as the big ones but the a small body, it takes great pics and has a good price.

i was thinking of going for the D80 but the only main difference is the built-in focus motor, and i own AF-S lenses that have motors in them, it works great too

  • nice! where do you guys live? It looks nice there! much nicer than if I was to shoot the place where I live... but maybe you guys just have a better camera :p

  • lol, so our camera makes the place we live look better?

  • Come now, cowboys are meant to be seen riding off into the sunset, not without tuto's high5ing it, returning for Pepsi's. Come be creative show us how to write scripts and act, or something constructive. Nice to know you're back.

  • awesome guys.. love your editing

  • Thanksya :)
