The ceiling pieces went into the trash the rest of the set went into storage. The propmakers will put it back together should the pilot get picked up in June. Glad you enjoyed. This was done very spontaneously after the ceiling piece hit the ground, then we all got creative and shot the rest of it and threw it together.
How kool, I didn't know that propmakers put together the set pieces, I also see in the video some of the grips are wearing black, its funny tho usually stagehands wear black. I thought grips wear shorts and regular t-shrits with steal toe boots or sneakers. I'm also a stagehand myself, I work at a local community theater. I thought about doing some work as film grip.
that was funny, and safety is always first, and a great video, you should make more videos like these, I was just curious what do you do with all the set pieces when you're done with them?
It has come to the attention of Executive Board Trustees that additional safety training courses are necessary for our members. Please go to the Local #80 website to sign up for the D-Rigging safety course. This 24-hour comprehensive seminar will address all doughnut and doughnut-related safety issues in the workplace. Don't delay,as this certification is required for all members. Doughnuts and coffee will not be served. In unity and prosperity,
