The first half of this movie was predictable and maybe even boring but the second one was thrilling, suspensful and really great. The ending was superb. Robert De Niro, Famke Janssen and Dakota Fanning did a wonderful job.
Fanning was featured even more prominently in two films released in 2003: playing the uptight child to an immature nanny played by Brittany Murphy in Uptown Girls and as Sally in The Cat in the Hat.
I don't think scary movies are actually scary for the actors!! They dont have to listen to the scary music, and they aren't watching it, and they know all the other actors around them that are meant to be creepy people. so no, I think it was ok for Dakota
The film is quite alright, Fanning has given a good performance - but it isn't horror. You have a disturbed dad and at the end the girl is living somewhere drawing a pitucre of her new life - it has a message of sadness turn happyness. It should be reclassified as something else - not horror.
I don't get it, how can as small girl like her act in such a scary movie like this one. Is it scary, I don't know cause I haven't seen it and I don't think I ever will. I hate scary movies.
And yes i was previously scottys24, it took me 3 months and blood coming outta my finger nails so show some respect. when your determined what's right is right! right?.
