Yeah, Nintendo should really fix how the game only checks for the latest of everything (except sages and stones in OOT) like how in OOT if you do the Gerudo Gate Hop you can skip learning Saria's Song by getting the Silver Gauntlets early, because the game assumes you have the Goron Bracelet by then, you never have to see Darunia until the cut-scene when he gives you Goron's Ruby (making for an awkward, "Hey Link!"

Ok, scratch my last comment. I managed to do it. However, when i reached the room and tell Midna to warp it out, she says that "that guy is still watching us". When he's not there. I can transform into a wolf and back into a human and nothing changes. When i save, switch off and load up the game again, i'm at the spring in Kakoriko Village but when i go back to the Cannon room, it's the same story. Anybody know a way around this?

You guys gotta keep in mind this was done on the Gamecube. If you're playing on the Wii, it's reversed, so you have to do this on the right side. :)

@cubehead978 you can do it on the wii version. You have to go to the right side of the statue instead, because the wii version is mirrored from the gamecube version, so the directions are backwards. Do what he did on the right side, and your good to go! It might take a few tries, it's kinda hard to get link in the right place.

Nintendo should add something EVERYWHERE, from temples to the master sword and that kind of stuff. That forces you to do the parts your supposed to do first. That way even when you manage to get somewhere early you can't do anything there..

But don't think I'm complaining, I just say what I would do if I made games..

@zumbach242 People probably don't like it for numerous reasons, such as the fact that it is a very repetitive game, some elements of the storyline are often very predictable. Also, the apperance of many minor characters are very odd and they tend to have strange or annoying voices, when they actually do make a noise, that is. That's another thing, no one speaks in Zelda games. It's like with each Zelda game that comes out, they're going further back rather than advancing.

When you look at the beautiful graphics and unpredictable storylines to games such as Final Fantasy, it's hard for an old game like Zelda to look good. Especially now that they're about to bring out yet another game with cartoon appearence and probably another predicatable storyline.

Anyways, believe it or not, I do love the Zelda series lol, I've played it for as long as I can remember.

I just did this to see if I could get to the cannon and I could then I carried on playing the game as normal. After the Temple of Time and getting the anchient book your suppost to go Shad and get him to read a spell to give the rod power but when I went to the place where the canon was because I had been there before it automatically went to a short clip about finding the cannon skipping the rod restoring part.

I think it would be pretty funny if it turned out that Nintendo intentionally left gaps in the game (i.e the little gap in the statue to the room which has the cannon and) and little paths (i.e the part which leads to the Master Sword) to give players something else to experience.

It's a crazy thought, but it could be true.
