  • Nov 9th, 1988 was when this show happened.

  • Now that's a 70's stache !

  • Rick Roberts what a voice ! one of the BEST !

  • WHEN WAS THIS?

  • Rick Roberts.....having a little trouble live here, BUT, when he is on, one of THE best pure singers from the 70's!!!

  • Rick Roberts and David Muse were high school buddies of mine. Terrific musical talents and voices.

  • Meisner FC.+++ Kai Thailand

  • Rick Roberts WAS Firefall!

  • anyone know if the video of these guys singing take it to the limit is still on yt somewhere? I'd love to hear that version of the song again.

  • I never heard of the Roberts Meisner Band! Thanks YouTube! (And raygarnan!)

  • Sweet like honey. Just lovely, one of the sweetest songs ever.

  • Firefalls original Flute player was David Muse. He toured with Marshall Tucker for quite a few years. This is a good vid.

  • The sound mixer had to be a keyboard player......

  • What year was this?

  • Thanks for sharing this great video! Great song with some very talented performers! Ron

  • This song means everything to anyone. Just listen and you will know what i'm talikng about.

  • I am a meisner. All I have to say is excellent.

  • Excellent, what a gem! I Love Randy & Rick, thanks a lot for this footage.

  • Randy Meisner, one of the nicest guys in Country Rock. He and Leadon were the Eagles as far as I'm concerned. Especially not hot-air Henley.

  • @rockon1898 I agee 100%. I personally would like to see Meisner and Leadon form their own own group and perform some of the Eagles songs live, maybe have Felder join them also. I realize Frey and Henley cowrote Take it To the Limit with Randy. But it just doesn't sound right to hear Glenn sing it in concert.

  • @dukeseinfeldfan1

The song belongs to Randy. Glenn performs it to keep it alive, publishing-wise or otherwise. Randy and Timothy Schmit are unique counter-tenors, like Graham Nash. If the Eagles want to hand the song on live, let Timothy perform it.

  • @rockon1898 So True! You can't beat the early harmony of the Eagles. And they don't even mention Randy when Glenn wrecks take it to the limit in concert now.

  • The singer was lead vocalis for Firefall. Thats why it sounds good man.

  • Well I would have given this 5 stars but ratings are disabled. ;)

    A very good cover. :)

  • When was this recorded/filmed.A few years back,I believe. Thanks for posting.

  • Great voice. At first, didn't like how he changed the way "I knew it from the start" was deliverd, but dammit, I LOVE this version!
