I agree. Manson needed his original band or at least several members of it! Ginger was a welcomed addition and so was Twiggy but I think that should have been it. The Manson/Daisy/Twiggy/Pogo/Ginger line up had the most potential and with Trent Reznor producing the formula was perfect. Too bad Manson doesn't treat his band well at all.
Yeah, I think ZimZum was arguably just as good as Daisy and John 5 was great. Unfortunately you can't keep recycling guitar players forever. The good news is Twiggy has rejoined the band, the bad news is that Pogo will most likely never rejoin the band, neither will any of his old guitar players.
Yeah he sued for $20 million for unpaid partnership proceeds. Its pretty sad, he was such an important part of the band and there is no chance he will rejoin after this.
Yeah, I saw Manson back in 2000 on the tour supporting Holy Wood and both Twiggy and MW Gacy were still in the band. I really enjoyed watching Gacy play the keyboard 'cause he had it attached to a giant spring. Keyboard players are usually pretty boring to watch 'cause they just stand there, but damn did he use that spring! It was awesome! I was sad to hear they parted ways, too. On a side note, why does everything Tim Skold touch suck so bad? First KMFDM, then Marilyn Manson. Quit music, Skold!
I've noticed that about Pogo in the videos of Marilyn Manson concerts. He uses loops in concert which I think is a good thing for keyboardists in concerts because it helps add to the energy. You'll notice in recent clips that Chris Vrenna does not use loops, so he is just as immmobile as other keyboardists. I think Tim Slold was Manson's last resort for a main music writer. From what i've heard in interviews, it sounds like manson must have realized he needed Twiggy, and got him back.
