The release is normal.. except that he doesn't hold the extension, he 'pulls the string', which you're taught not to do. The off hand does something weird 2. He also does this 1,2,3 bounce when he lands. I guess practice makes perfect.

Yes, the off-hand is on top of the ball, so when the ball is gone the two hands sort of ''clap'' together. One of my favourites of the 90's, btw.
