There is an unofficial translation patch for the sequel! It is also for gameboy color and was released only in japan. But enough of it has been translated to make it playable.

Oh god, I remember playing this game to the point where I could have been considered the true Pokemon master. I made my own custom deck, and I could never come close to losing. Then it restarted itself for no reason, and I had to start over...

If u ckeck on an emulator, you find out that it's not random, it's calulated. So i only need to attack when the coin has pikachu, and if not, i leave that coin to the rival xD

My grandma got me this game for Easter back in the GBC days. It was amazing. Going around and beating gym leaders and just looking and the cards was fun. Also teaches you how to play the actual card game.

99% of games have "walkin around and goin from one area to another"... Without that, this game wouldn't have went anywhere.

Their focus wasn't walking around the maps... it was the simulation.

What do you mean by "PC version"? This is a game for the Game Boy and the Game Boy Color. There is no PC version. You can play the game on a PC if you get an emulator of one of the consoles and a romfile on your PC. Yeah, sorry for trying to be helpful I guess.
