So so special! Going to see Dylan and Mark in Glasgow in a couple of weeks. I don't suppose they will sing together, but can you imagine how fantastic it would be if they did sing this. Can't wait for the concert.
@Angelpt91 I saw them this week. Mark was great. I hope Dylan performs better at your concert than he did at Manchester, which was a big disappointment.
according to the site i bought my ticket from mark knopfler is going to play a set with his band then bob plays the second half with his band, i really hope to see bob play a full set though and hope they dont just do half a set each, do you have any info on this ????
I gotta guess early eighties, between or around the "Slow Train " and " Infedels " recordings ... I dont think Knofler and Bob did anything after that, which I think is a shame ... I loved the stuff that they did.
!983 was the year Dylan & ex-wife Sara considered remarriage. Makes you wonder if he is recalling old times with her, considering getting back together & then realizing it's not possible. There is a reference of his love having such soft golden hair which doesn't describe Sara, but the other references do so. We will probably never know, but we do know it's a beautiful song & Knopfler's guitar is sweet!

@soulkiss1001 Although Carolyn Dennis sang with Dylan from1978-1987 they didn't marry till June of '86. . They were married from 1986 - 1992. I don't believe everything I read, but with Dylan anything is possible. It is known that Sara was his one true love. The attempt was in the mid 80's. Howard Sounes discovered Dylan's secret marriage when writing, "Down The Highway - The Life Of Bob Dylan." I am sure, Dylan has many secrets.
