She, on the same team, says socialised health care spends less because the government doesn't want to spend more, and she admits the US spends 16% as opposed to 11% of GDP in Candad- about 40% more. You must be heartless to be against univ healthcare.There are a couple of services - healthcare being the first among them- that all citizents should benefit when needed regardless of their financial status. It is a system that many states apply succesfully (take many northern european countries for example which by the way are not socialist).
