I used to hate them myself. I have only recently (within the past year) fell in love with their music. Like all the best bands, Radiohead's music takes time and repeated listens to truly appreciate. It takes effort, and that's why Radiohead is known as being an intellectual band.

radiohead is music for intellectuals. The average radiohead fan has an IQ that is substantially higher than the general population. There have even been studies done on this... Radiohead fell just behind Beethoven (rank 1) on the IQ/music preference scale. There are more stupid people and intellectuals. Therefore, people like Miley Cyrus will always be more famous and have more money. And it's a damn shame.

My college friends introduced me to them and ever if I didn't like them that much at first, I had to admit their music was complex and intellectual. then I fell in love with their music. I don't think Radiohead is the best band band cause I like it. I like them because they are the best band nowadays

I agree with you totally. The Beatles are great, they're legends of their respective era, as are Radiohead. Radiohead are legends of the CURRENT era (and 90s too). Radiohead is an acquired taste. I used to hate them myself. I have only recently (within the past year) fell in love with their music. Like all the best bands, Radiohead's music takes time and repeated listens to truly appreciate. It takes effort, and that's why Radiohead is known as being an intellectual band.
