  • why do people buy into mythical nonsense, its been proven christianty is just plagerised forms of other faiths. yet the deluded refuse to apply a critcal thought when weighing up the evidence. self deception unfortunatly is very common amoungst those with large egos or those with fragile egos. the weak, the insecure ,indoctronated, cant see why others reject all faiths, when fear and guilt has been embedded into there fragile minds. its shameless how religion does this to good people.let go folks

  • @kram83au no one has 'proven christianity is just plagerised forms of other faiths'. the website you once gave is not 'proof' but speculation. the rest of your comment is not argument or the application of critical thought.

  • @riian1946 no one has 'proven christianity wrong'', well if people like yourself would step out of the bubble of delusion like so many pastors/preists etc have been doing recently youd find quite the opposite but you wont except the reality, still you keep your head in the sand your obviously in a happier place there. manmade myths for misguided fools. signing off, ave had it with idiots.

  • @kram83au publicchristianity.orglibrary/ gospels-as-ancient-biographies

you might like to check out a real scholar who knows what he is talking about with regard to your first point.

  • any argument upon any subject in order to be believed or accounted as TRUTH must be proven,,there is so much historcal proof of the actual existence and resurrection of Jesus. If you proclaim that this is untrue or a myth, you must PROVE what you are saying is true..I have yet to see ANYONE anywhere in the history of Christianity or the world to PROVE that Jesus and His Resurrection never existed or occurred. People will believe anything you tell them until the name Jesus pops up. Afraid?

  • Actually you can prove George Washington was real. We have eyewitness writings and actual writings from George Washington. You have nothing written by jesus nor any eyewitness accounts by anyone period. All you have for jesus are third or fourth party removed hearsay which is at least 30 - 70 years after any of the alleged events. That is hardly evidence. Hell they dont even know who authored the gospels.

  • @lespauls61 such comments show you don't understand the nature of an oral culture and are demanding of a time 2000 years ago that it conform to our present time. It's quite possible that all the gospels were in written form before AD68-70 (fallofJerusalem) but that tells us that the material was in oral form well before. The apostles Paul, Peter John Jude their writing predate AD68 too. It's only the nature of the gospel claims that make you hesitant. Perhaps that's good too.

  • At 1 minute 10 seconds they admit that it was interpolations.

  • And there are NO eyewitness accounts of any god boy named jesus. NOT ONE SOURCE.

  • Josphus writings of a Jesus (first big paragraph) are considered interpolations by most if not ALL scholars and they disregard them as any kind of proof.

  • I love how they say Christians forged Josephus' references to Jesus but still regard him as an outstanding historian who is accurate with his volumes of work but logic would dictate that his work is faulty, it should be re-evaluated. If Christians skillfully added this reference how many other groups infiltrated his works and changed history or just the Christians were successful in this coup. We might as well throw all his work out, we can't trust it or just pick and choose what the truth is..

  • Much more interesting is an actual Jewish contemporary of Jesus, Philo who died in 50 CE. Philo was a prolific writer who made the require annual pilgrimages to Jerusalem and thus would have been there when Jesus supposedly stirred enough trouble to get himself crucified. Yet Philo makes no mention at all of any of the events reported in the Gospels.

  • @Kailoa36 Just out of curiosity, would you say that Christianity itself did not exist in any form in the 1st century?

  • @Wunji1 Of course it did. There is considerable historical evidence of the existence of several version of Christianity in the first century including some of the individuals mentioned in the NT. What we don't have is any reliable, historical, non-NT evidence about the life of JC. All the accounts we have were written well after his alleged life and reinvent JC in the image of the writers' own individual teachings.

  • @Kailoa36 So what was your point with Philo?

  • @Wunji1 Asked and answered. I'm done here.

  • @Kailoa36 Look, don't bring up a subject if you aren't prepared to defend yourself! If you are going to make the posit that "Philo should have mentioned Jesus" and therefore somehow discredit that Jesus existed, or that he wasn't as influential, or whatever, then complete the information. Philo said NOTHING about Christianity either, and you just agreed that there was plenty of evidence for that, so your Philo point means nil - stick that in your "I'm done here" pipe and smoke it!

  • @Wunji1 correction - if you are going to posit, not "make the posit" - wahahaha

  • @Wunji1 Philo died in 50 CE. There was plenty of evidence for Christianity after the middle of the first century, not before. Take your snide remarks and shove them up your ass. And enjoy your last word which I am sure you will take. You and your silly nonsense bores me.

  • @Kailoa36 Great way to miss the point... If it makes you feel good to tell someone to shove something up there ass, well... I'm sure everyone here can determine the intelligence behind that... I could have sworn you said "I'm done" - but apparently not lol

  • @Wunji1 its partly true the christianity you know today didn't exist until constintine 325.AD. many reports is that until that time those calling themselves christian to greeks but still retained judism. which is sect was called followers of the way, which people don't wanna hear much about cause it gets people heated.

  • @sbz666283 the reason is that most of christianity rejects parts of the bible and adds pagan ideas. read the book tale of two babylons by alexander hislop. He expains where most things revered by christains today is things condemed in the bible but what is in the bible is rejected. and how lies told to hide the paganism is a big problem

  • @sbz666283 I see all the time christians giving up the pagan things that have been forced on the faith and going back to the roots of the bible. back to judism again those that do this call themselves messianic believers since some are not jewish DNA wise. but by accepting the God of the bible the rabbi who brought you into faith adopts you into the people.

  • @Wunji1 aka there are billion christians not knowing that accepting the God of the bible, brought into the faith by Rabbi yeshua ben david that they are adopted not just into the faith but into the people aka not jews by birth but jews by faith. Rabbi yeshua ben david aka jesus in english circles. the teachings of rabbi yeshua ben david are not understood very well cause the church has rejected the jewish meanings to everything he taught which is a huge problem cause it causes issues

  • @Wunji1 the reason is that all the teachings in there cultural meanings don't mean what the church says they do. like mattew: chp-18 25:27 when a jew says destroy the torah it means disobey, or speak incorrectly about the subject, when a jewish rabbi says full fill in the context he is saying he will interpret the torah correctly. So what jesus was saying is that he didn't come to destroy the torah: ( to do away with, or incorrect understanding) but to full fill:( bring proper

  • @sbz666283 meaning/correction) hopefully this has helped

  • @Kailoa36 because your off by 73 years. birth is 30 BC death in 7 AD. which is peoples best understanding. there is more documentation of the life of jesus and those who where with him them any man is history. people who have researched with an unbiased eye have found more evidence then you know several jewish writtings outside the bible talk about jesus in his actual jewish name. Digs in isreal found jars with the records of people born in the area at the time and guess what

  • @Kailoa36 jesus under his hebrew name is mentioned. in the bible it states and he will be called immanuel meaning god with us, david said when he sees the messiah he would call him my salvation yehoshua in its hebrew.

  • @Kailoa36 - if he was a contemporary of Jesus then it is self explanatory. Jesus lived a very "minor" life and His movement was initally modest in size. It simply would not have shown up on the radar for most people! Hence a contemporary writer would likely never have heard of Him. Further, it MAY equally be that Philo and numerous other writers, did write of Jesus but that material, like most of their work, is simply lost to us. What survives from this period is really a lucky dip.

  • If Jesus returned today he would be imprisoned and possibly killed again in an even more gruesome way-called an impostor, a dissident and a terrorist. While all of you worship and emulate the evil jews and so worship satan.

  • A popular Muslim speaker brilliantly drew from the Torah, Holy Bible and Holy Quran to decipher the religious symbolism of Revelations. The mostly Muslim audience were surprise by the incredible unifying role "Son of Mary" plays, when Revelations was read with unifying clarity. I Am Christian and the series "Age of Dajjal" video series is brilliant and presented in a wonderful unifying manner of the 3 major mono-theists religions.

  • Joesephus is christian interpolations, not evidence. There are no eyewitness accounts of jesus NOT ONE.

  • @lespauls61 Matthew, Mark. Luke and John were written by eyewitnesses.

  • @benacker1983 You are wrong. None of those guys wrote anything down. THe gospel stories are attributed to them not written by them . SO this means no eyewitness testimony. The gopels dating at best puts the first around 70-80 CE the others between 80-110 CE. When the average man barely lived past 30 or 40 how do you think these guys lived over 100

  • @benacker1983 No they werent witnesses writing the gospels they are all hearsay. Do some research instead of listening to church propaganda

  • Comment removed

  • @lespauls61 We will all see Jesus at the judgement. Don't wait for proof until then.

We all have sinned, but God forgives all who repent.

    Romans 10: 9-10:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  • @benacker1983 Your really ignorant of history and science if you believe that mythical bull shit. There is no proof that jesus ever exsisted or that there is a god. Where is your evidence? A book of fairy tales, try using Moby Dick next.

  • @lespauls61 i am witness of jesus christ who has the power of creation, mind boggling love and peace. there is no stress, hate, sadness in his presence all of it is wiped from your soul. jesus is all in white spirit and has a strong deep voice. he is god almighty the power is mind boggling and u can barely live thru it. U feel unworthy of him , he is pure good and the only pure good that exists. jesus is real and is coming. U need to wake up , let go of ur science and think about ur soul.SAVE IT!

  • @Terceira73 You are a witness of nothing. IF you think you saw jesus then your crazy and need professional help. Why do you believe writings from people 1900 years ago that witnessed NOTHING.

  • @lespauls61 lol u atheist make me laugh. seriously i laugh so hard every time u people open your mouth. get this in your head .I AM A WITNESS OF JESUS CHRIST. HE IS VERY REAL AND IS GOD.ALL MY STRESS,PAIN,SADNESS WAS WIPED AWAY BY HIM,REPLACED WITH EXTREME MIND BOGGLING LOVE AND PEACE.POWER TO CREATE THIS WORLD IN ONE DAY. HE IS ALL IN WHITE SPIRIT AND HAS A STRONG DEEP VOICE. the last thing i worry is what the blind have to say. im perfectably sane and not blind like u. u need help not me.

  • @Terceira73 I agree with your comment for the most part. and i too am a christian. however... it should be noted that people of other faiths also receive answers to their prayers as well, though not through the power of Christ but through the power of demons; keeping man stupid and happy.

Having an isolationist mentality is not going to help anyone either. and may make you (anyone) stagnant in the Lord as well.. opening gateways to dark desires. be careful brother/sister. God bless.

  • @Terceira73 Your delusional and need to seek professional help.

  • @benacker1983 No they were not

  • @lespauls61 Josephus was not Christian, he was a well recognized Jewish historian.

  • @js4unc11 Yes i know he was a jew, you mistook the meaning. Christians who rewrote josephus work added (interpolations/forged) things to his writing to pad the jesus myth

  • @js4unc11 Still havent been able to come up with any evidence I see. DOnt waste your time, you wont find proof of jesus he is a man made created myth.

  • @lespauls61 jesus a man made myth? Are you an apeman? Go get some education moron.

  • @lespauls61 you can't prove there is no God. that would be just like proving that honda dosnt make cars. there are two views, Athiestic or creation views, one is right. if athiesm is right, we come from nothing and nothing made everything somehow, we go nowhere when we die. however if you're christian then you believe that God created everything and we go somewhere when we die.also what science and history are you even talking about that would disprove Jesus?evolution which is false? what?

  • @freakman707 I never said anything about god not existing i said jesus never existed. There is not one shred of evidence to support him.

  • Thank you for the reply . I'll respond, "There is no proof that jesus ever exsisted or that there is a god." Hmm?. In addition You make such a bold claim in such a radical form that to disprove your argument all what's required is to provide a credible 3rd party, Jewish Historian Josephus.

  • @freakman707 Third party is hearsay and not evidence you need scientific as well as archeological evidence. Try taking some science courses to learn about what is real and what is made up (bible/jesus)

  • @lespauls61 Try taking some history classes.

  • @lespauls61 You didn't reply to my question by the way.

  • @lespauls61 I'm multitasking right now, also do you know what argument is? As an argument all what I need is to prove such is by what I said not what you said.

  • @freakman707 Third pary writings are not considered evidence. You need actual eyewitness accounts. All you have for the exsistance of jesus are 3rd and 4th partys removed which mean purley hearsay. The gospels were not eyewitness accounts, no one even knows who authored them.

  • @MegaFraudbuster Yes jesus is most likely man made. Why else would there be NO historical proof of his exsistance. Not one eyewitness wrote anything down NOT ONE. NOT ONE historian from the time he allegedly lived wrote about him NOT ONE. We have ZERO historical/archeological evidence to support than god boy

  • @lespauls61 - maybe you need a good education .Stuck to long in your cave or maybe you cannot read ! Look in your message box.

  • @MegaFraudbuster Yes Jesus is a myth. Show me some archeological evidence to prove he was real.

  • And this is from a sheer historical standpoint. From a pure scientific standpoint you cannot even prove Aristotle, George Washington, or Ghenghiskhan existed because basically we live in the present and they are no longer observable. Even if you don't like him and think he is a liar, lunatic, or over hyped. All I need is one name to do this. The Jewish historian Josephus. Also historical evidence is different than scientific proof.

  • @js4unc11 Chrisitans added the messiah BS to Josephus writings aka interpolations, nearly every scholar believes this so basically nothing of Josephus can be used as evidence, and hearsay isnt evidence in the first place.

  • @lespauls61 first of all this post was over a year ago so idk why youre just now bothering to reply. And Christians didnt add anything to Josephus' writings, they just use his writings to establish that he was an actual person who lived during that time, and wasnt made up. Also Josephus was a first century Romano-Jewish historian, so its not hearsay

  • @js4unc11 The video even admits to christian interpolations starting at the 1:10 mark. Josephus wasnt alive before 33CE he was born years later so how could he have witnessed something that happened before he was alive? Look up the writings of Philo of Alexandria who was alive when the mythical jesus was supposed to have lived. Not one mention by Philo of any messiah named jesus in early first century. Philo lived from around 15 BCE to about 50CE give or take cant remember his exact years.

  • @lespauls61 So? He didnt write about the apostle Mark either who established the church in Alexandria. Most scholars agree that it takes at least 3 generations of people before legends arise of an event. Otherwise witnesses of the event and their direct decendants can easily verify if the legend isnt true, Such is the case with Josephus. Even though Jesus wasnt alive, most of his apostles still were and not enough time had passed before a legend could be made up.

  • @js4unc11 Fact

There are no eyewitness accounts of jesus

Fact there is no evidence of any kind outside the bible of any apostles.

Fact Philo of alexandria historina during the time of the mythical jesus wrote not one word of him or anyone like him during the first half of the first century. Fact there are no roman writings of any eyewitness's

Hearsay is not evidence especially biased hearsay.

Please present actual historical eyewitness accounts or archeological proof.

  • @lespauls61 there are eyewitness accounts of jesus, alot of the eyewitness accounts are written in the bible. However because of your prejudice, you automatically discredit the bible of any facts whatsoever; a big error that historians dont make. And we also do know who wrote most of the gospel accounts, albeit some are anonymous. You have a better chance of convincing people that we didnt land on the moon, than convincing the majority of people to take your minority believed conspiracy theory

  • @lespauls61 God can save you. Quit resisting Him. He loves you.

  • @js4unc11 plus we have more writings about Jesus than we do about the roman emperor of that time. Christianity didnt just arise randomly out of no where because some Jews were bored of their old traditions.
