@xiKoNz Didn't you play minor hockey? That's half the battle is being able to get the other guys bucket off, kids would rig their helmet straps so they were impossible to grab or undue. Taking your helmet off to fight is a huge suspension around here in minor hockey because of liability and insurance issues but if 2 players square off with there helmets on, it's just a basic 5 minute major for fighting.

Downie has cleaned up his play once he got in the NHL. His hit on Mcammond was his only "dirty" play in the NHL. On that hit he was playing hard, and it was preseason so he was trying to make the team. If that happened a few years ago it would have been seen more as a big hit than a dirty hit. And in the rest of that video, there was just checking and fighting, its part of the game, deal with it.

This is exactly why you hate him and we love him.
