it is the japanese version of the game and it is a little different then the US or EU versions

@IFloridaMotocrossI LOL me too, but this game was so awesome! It was so fast back then and had an a great soundtrack. Man I used to play this nights on a row with my roommate after smoking a joint LOL Oh and the rumble pack! Good times! ^_^

:-\ The music is playing a bit fast. I should know because I have both XG1 and XG2 on my N64 and love them both to death (well, not literally, and I also like F-zero, other racing games, blah)
With some practice, I bet I could get to where I could nail all the hardest difficulties all the time again, but I haven't played this in over a year!
This takes me back a long time.
