  • UPDATE: The game is from 1930, as the billboard ads match that year, but don't match 1931 ads. That does indeed seem to be the Army mule. There were two Army games at YS in 1930:

    11/8/1930 Army 13 - Illinois 0 74,000

    12/13/1930 Army 6 - Navy 0 70,000 [post-season]

  • If it is indeed Army-Navy, it's from 1930 or 1931.

  • @tubage07 We see what I think is the Army donkey mascot a few times and the other footage I have of Yankee Stadium and the Polo Grounds seem to be Army-Navy games too. I'm guessing it was a family tradition to go to them. (See the other video I've added here.) That'd be great to narrow it down to the those years. Thanks!

  • It's from 1928-35. If could read any of the ads, I could narrow it down further.

  • @tubage07 I tried to add this comment but I'm not seeing it appear yet so I'm adding it again.

  • Thanks. I've corrected it. (Thank you sulliva too.)
