Cause' the few girls that are in this anime are all nuns (plus mermaid) and have no interest at all in the young lead or any of the other males for that matter. How ever teito takes tuns of interest in the other male leads in this anime. Oh god and don't even get me started on frau... He wants to do teito so bad it isn't even funny. So yeah I would say Shounen ai. Ether way It is a fantastic anime yaoi or not.
