Day[9] i tried to get into this game because i love your videos so much, but when i bought it i had no idea how difficult it really is. I'm beginning to think it was a waste of $60 because after the campaign when i tried out multiplayer i lose like every game i enter and have won only twice :( I've been in bronze for months now and it doesn't matter how many games or help videos i watch i still suck

@lucaschallenger You clearly have some major flaws in your gameplay, maybe try posting a replay on TL and get some higher level feed back, I got out of bronze as terran doing a 3 rax push at 7 mins pretty much got me into high gold, after that I switched to zerg. it's easy to get out of bronze just learn a good build and do it every game till you have it perfect if you do that I promise you will get out of bronze probly out of silver too

I was stalking about standard cheese, at least for lower than Master's division. 60% of games vs. toss in platinum at this point are four gates, rushing to dts, or rushing to void rays, which I can handle easily. I've grown resentful of cheese, not because I can't beat it, but because in learning to beat it so well, I now have trouble handling standard play. So it's even harder to get to diamond :/

As a Zerg, I can honestly say that I'm so relieved when Terran tries bizarre cheese. Banshees, mass marauders (it's happened), usually blue flame hellions, they're all great. What scares me the most is a Terran that just has good all around play.

@iodon If your multitasking is good, then doing both is fine...but if you want to learn to play with a strong, standard build, try harassing with only a couple of hellions and marines. I think bunker rushes are okay, too.

Because he focused on casting than playing recently for months, eventually he went down on rankings. He reached Master's league before. I remember him actively playing before on tournaments with his brother. :) Actually it's not really an issue, why? Think of coaches of a professional basketball team, they can win championships because of a genius Coach on analysis and strategies given then the team executed it well. I guess Day9 would be a good professional starcraft coach.

I find against terran its really strong too hold the map control ofc this helps with all races but with Zerg its easier too maintain the map control with some earlier zerglings cause lings are still in your standard unit composition its okay and a few extra in the early game help with holding those towers and holding down expo's too the last question pump out say about 6-12 lings and no more and just hold down your opponents natural early on or harass but make them worth while.
