The people support enforcement of immigration laws overwhelmingly and the police work for the people. All Arizona has done is taken existing federal immigration laws and begun enforcing them in Arizona.

@bearchewtoy75 Racial profiling is specifically banned in the bill. If someone is stopped for speeding or arrested for a burglary, he will simply have to prove he is here legally. If he broke the law speeding or burglarizing, the police will simply inquire whether he's also breaking immigration laws. So the racial profiling angle is a lie designed to allow the continued open borders policy, the flood of illegals, the watering down of American wage rates to help big business make more money.

If it's racist, why aren't you, the Hispanic Supremacists and the big businessmen seeking cheap labor calling for the elimination of existing federal immigration laws? Why make it a racial issue? How about laws against burglary, murder or kidnapping? Should enforcement of those laws be dropped because racial profiling might be involved? And, if someone just forgot their papers in an emergency situation, they can get in trouble just for that.
