its an auto clutch idk about the yamahas but the hondas r chain driven

yeh my brothers polaris (the red bull) is amazingly fast but the thing i like is whenever i turn on a corner you are bacically drifting its soo fun instead of talking on here u have m s n?

yaa i find my ol polaris 400 pretty fast ,, had it going over 60mph ,, the needle was 1/2" past the 60 so i figure around 65mph !! ya i have msn mess

thx i never new that just got back from my cottage where it is and it seems to be running better and better everytime i use it

mine doesent have a clutch all i have to do is lift up to shift up and down to shift down and mine isnt noisy and doesd not leak oil and second gear doedent make sounds but yes mine does start on 1st pull pece m8

ya urs have Clutches ,, a Centrifical Clutch and a Basket with 5 clutches in that( 1st to 5th gear),, kinda of a semi-auto ,,No clutch lever to pull,, The shift inside the engine does it for u ,,

mine is a yemaha yellow 225DX shaft drive very powerful but it seems thatthe electric starter wont werk anymore and its acting a bit odd but nothing big

Mine needs a bit of work ,, Leaks oil, Noisy top end,Clutches slips,& Sec Gear makes a winding noise, But still starts on the 1st or 2nd Pull !!!!!! Thinking about selling this one and looking for a Honda 350X ?!!!!

ive got one too they r so much fun. myne is either an 1983 or an 1985. runs perfect love it to death. love the sound when the throttle is open all the way mine is liek exactly like urs!
