when you compare today's cartoons with cartoons from twenty years ago, it seems that easy-animation technology has kind of "dumbed down" the art of animation. I mean, think about it: back then the artists really focused on getting characters and environments to look "real." Today, we have dopey shit like Adventure Time and Phineas and Ferb and similar simple animations (South Park is an exception... that show's content makes up for it.) I am happy to have had my childhood during the 90s....
