the concept

zone to northrend via a boat or zepp DON'T TOUCH THE GROUND

once you get to a decent spot DC (it can take multiple tries)

your computer would load up the previus zone file instead of northrend

I tried to do this, got the exact right cords and flew all the way from the zepp (eastern kingdoms) and use dc macro but it dosent work. I had slightly wrong cord first try but all other tries where exactly 62.79. so if you fail first time do you have to do it all over at zepp? or what

It seems to me that he's in Kalimdor, but all the stuff in Northrend is still in its proper position. What I'm saying is that the Northrend NPCs and spawned objects are being shown in Kalimdor. Terrain is done using a program, thats why it is not changed.

@youk100 Actually no, the way it works is that, he's still in Northrend except since he disconnected on a glitched spot it shows that he's not, but he is still. if a player would see him, they might have seen him floating around in the air. but on Rez's screen it shows that he's in durotar because of the glitch.

You could not sink a little more time into making a good tricky-video? First off there'd be both players and NPCs in Orgrimmar, and when you fly past there is none. Not a single person. And when you backslam just after 4:19 you can actually see SHOVELTUSKS(Fat Northrend Pigs) FALLING FROM THE SKY. IN DUROTAR? It's obviously just a character geared and named after a retail character on a private server. fenxbai

@pipboy650 Actually, this has happened to me before but in a different way. I died in Howling Fjord and did the falling through the ground thingy as a ghost that happens every so often. I tried to relog after being disconnected by crap internet and when I came back I was flying above the Eastern Plaguelands on my mount and I started flipping out. I tried to get my friends to come and see me but when they said that they were where I told them to be, I couldn't see them on my mini map at all cont.

@pipboy650 And there were dead shoveltusks and stuff falling from the sky everywhere. On my map, it said I was still in northrend, and not in regular azeroth. I then started flying around and there were no NPCs that were supposed to be there or other players. I tried to fly to the Death Knight spawning area but was dismounted as I flew across the border. I'm guessing that that was because it was Wotlk content and not orginal.

My first assumption from seeing a flying shoveltusk outside of orgrimmar obviously seemed like a output spawn on a private server. Then again i didn't get this to work so i guess that convinced me that it was too good to be true :P

@pipboy650 Actually It is vary possible if you have ever been on a private server u can shift in and out of phases some allowing you to create buildings that when you leave that phase disapeer it seems as if when he disconects in those certain spots the phases get mixed up ( a bug with the cords) and seem to appear in the wrong places he is actually still in northrend just different cenery and mobs are bugged

It worked because the transport you were on (boats, zepps) Would load onto the other continent when you DC'd, and it would make you load where the boat or zepp was. It was a very fun bug while it lasted, and surprisingly my friend and I didn't get banned for doing this.

this happened to me by sheer accident. I was on the boat from menethil to SW and the server restarted right as I was in the interchange (Right before the load screen). When I logged back in I was about 200 yards above ground level and I could use my fly mount. Was interesting to see things that were unreachable but I figured that if I explored too long I would see a ban.
