Well it was late 90's in 98 his album Crystal Planet came out and it was the first album that came out with him being bald. Oh yeah and Crystal Planet was his first album that he used a seven string guitar. I just wanted to add that sorry hahaha.

Well, him being bald fits in with the whole "Surfing with the Alien" theme too haha. The song actually sounds like you are surfing, and Satch looks a bit like an alien. So it works! LOL

Yeah he also stated in an interview that he seen a picture of himself as a child and he swears that for about 30 years hes a had a bad hair day ha ha ha. People don't put thumbs down that was stated by himself but's it's really funny though. Personally I really don't care what his hair looks like I listen to his music not look at his hair hahaha but it would kinda be weird if he had like a foe hawk or some emo due or something.
