  • vote no

  • The EU has one problem - only the irish voters had the CHANCE to vote.

The others were denied this opportunity - their governments decided for them.

Personally, I would vote no because the small EU country I live in would be forced to acquire some rules which I will never accept, such as the clause to defend other countries in case of a terror attack §28 B, or the need to spend more on military equipment as written in $28 A

There are other points I disagree with, but I am not allowed to vote.

  • france and holland also had the chance to vote, not just ireland:)

  • also look at "the enrgy non crisis" and " tales of an economic hitman". on here for more info on the march to ww3 then the one world govewrnment, 1 bank(thats here already), 1 world army, and a micro chipped population. watch aslo " mason chip" on here for more terryfying stuff.

  • resist the illuminati one world order. put a spannner in their works. how dare tehy send the french president to get the result they desire. does anyone here know about the NORTH AMERICAN UNION and the AMERO. signed and sealed in 2005. mexico canada and usa in in one eu style block. then there is the african union. also in 2001 china russia and 4 other countries signed and agreement to push the usa out of asia economically. shanghai cooperation oraganisation. its 1984 folks.

  • Warm thanks to the Irish people for defending Liberty, yours and ours: from one really pissed off German that loves Europe and dispises the EU. The EU is reducing Europe to the level of Democracy of North Korea. Your constitution garantees choice. We in Germany don't even have a constitution, never mind ever being asked. Let's march on Brussels, raze the dump and hang the imperialist criminals. The Lisbon Treaty permits the death penalty, in times of war. And the EU declared war on Liberty.

  • If I hadn't seen it all before I wouldn't believe the shameless arrogance of the EU..

They ask the people of Ireland if they accept the treaty, they get the answer "no", and now they sit around deciding what the question meant, and how to re-phrase it!

I hope the people of Europe rebel before its all so stitched up that rebellion is only possible through civil war. We should have a continent-wide strike at regular intervals until they listen. Perhaps on the solstice/equinox of each season?

  • ERIN GO BRAGH!

  • SweetKeo you are extremely rude. We voted no, because ALL members of Europe should have had a vote. We voted for democracy.

  • u know what? fuck the people of ireland...they are just 1% of the all european union population...so don't think they will consider that less than 0,25% said NO..grown up, cause this is just for facade...

  • rather 1% of the population of eu citizens than 27 members of the fat cat eu commission deciding for themselves!

  • Fuck you you fool!

Ireland wishes to remain free and so she shall!

    You slave to Brussels

  • The EU IS NOTHING more than a repeat of Federalism in the USA ... After the Civil war in America, citizens of states became citizens of the federal govt bringing more "central power of authority" and huge taxation upon it's people with huge losses of the rights of America's citizens!

The EU will take away your SOVERIEGN Power as a nation making you a state who has to OBEY your new MASTERS in the EU GOVT!

IF YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE EU, YOU WILL SOON KNOW WHAT BEING A TAX SLAVE IS!

  • it is called DEMOCRACY.what do you think we were the only country that had a chance to vote?..because the governments of the other eu countries know that their people would have voted no.Have you read the treaty. there is even a clause so countries can opt out/be removed from the eu.. which basically means do as we say or ur out. why should we vote for that. we spent 800 years and 10,000's of irish lives to get our freedom and ill be damed if ill hand it over to a bunch of arseholes in Brussels

  • Don't worry guys. I hit the bricks for the no campaign and we delivered a result. And what was key was the fact we organised early and we are well funded on the 'No' side. We can hold our own with the bullies and fascists in Bruxelles. We have had enough integration on my opinion. But if we are to go further, then there should be full disclosure of whats involved. At the moment the rest of Europe is being railroaded and are taking it like sheep..

  • absolutely, they will not openly tell the people of Europe what is in it and will only release it after everyone is signed up and there is no way back

  • @kingofcelts oops~ Iaccidentally gave you a vote down...not at all what I meant! The lisbon treaty , from what I have read was enough to make me want to spill my guts about these global noose ties called national security and international security. The state is beginning to show its true colors by showing the good people of the earth what can happen to the children of the world without a backup in the world 2protect innocent lives. And that a father must have sex with their own 3yr old is~!

  • Thank you jinkyfc. Unfortunately, despite my id, I live in the UK too so I have been denied my democratic right to vote on the treaty, as specified in the 2005 Labour Manifesto. We're meant to be fighting for democracy in Iraq & Afghanistan - at least that's the explantion given when we lose yet another brave serviceman/women but there's precious little democracy at home!

  • Alarming to note that the EU had already voted to IGNORE the result of the Referendum in Ireland beforehand.

What sort of an example of democracy is this? Oh I forgot the EU isn't a democracy. It's a group of unaccountable officials who want to bring in a totalitarian state.

Great for Ireland if they are pushed out of the EU - they can make separate trading agreements with any EU countries they want to & ignore the others, while retaining their own soul & sovereignty.

  • great comment

i only wish Britain were in the same position

  • since when do the brits take anything lying down?.. if brown kicks the british people in the sack.. you turn around and cut his off

  • no one really knows how bad it is. they havn't told the public what is in it or that it will hand over our democracy and judicial system to the unelected EU

  • i voted no.the media is making out that it is the end of the world for ireland and that the EU will cut its ties and let ireland float away out into the atlantic.long live freedom.

  • hurrayyyy! but.. can they just o ahead with the treaty anyway??

  • maybe...

but if they do we will be able to alert people to this hideous power grab so much easier

  • Do you really think they would take the humiliation of leaving Ireland out? How would that look to the rest of the world? It would look like a divided Europe!! No, there just being their fascists selves and punish the only nation that could think for itself.. Anyway, what if they did? Boston helped us more than Bruxelles and we actually lost revenue joining EU, approx 120billion fisheries concessions as opposed to a measley 52billion we got from them..

  • i dont htink they will leave you guys out, they cant!!! they will put pressure on the people by forcing the media over there to hammer it into everyone how much you guys need th eu and how much you will suffer (both lies. then there will be a small change to the treaty and then the media will go into overdrive for another referendum on it in november/december, like they did on the Nice Treaty

  • You've read my mind. That's exactly what they'll do. I think it's time to get prepared for round two..

  • they cant they are trapped by their own rules.. they can bitch as much as they want but at the end of the day the nice trteaty remains law until the lisbon treaty is voted in.. and by their own words all member states must vote yes for this too happen

  • Thank you Ireland so much! You made a good decision.

Don't pay atantion on thease who says that you are destroying EU.

Long live Ireland and FREE European countries!!!

  • I would love to know why the ratings are disabled on this video. YOUTUBE, can you explain?

  • OMG OMG OMG, i wasnt aware of that amendment........ anyways: BIIIIG THANK YOU IRELAND :* from Germany, im so proud of u, brave Irish!!!!!!!!

  • Just watch the Banking Elite try and get

    out of this one !!!

    Well done Ireland !!!

  • they will but it will be so easy to warn people about what is going on if they push forward with this.

  • Proud to be Irish, ashamed to be European!

  • ireland is most definately everyones favourite European country! in the 1 and only place they ALLOWED a vote, you guys sent them packing. Great work!!!

  • There is a half billion of us and only a handful of politician. We should march to the Government buildings and hang any politician who dares trys to become another fascist Bush

  • I am so proud to be irish today. It is disgracefull that other countries didnt get the chance to have their voices heard. Our government tried to force us into this treaty and the Irish people stood up for what they believed in. maith thú gach einne a chuir Níl insan bosca ceart.

  • although your media will tell you this is a big misstake, please dont listen to them.

the irsh scored a huge victory for us all.

  • THAAANK YOUUU IRLAND!!!!! muh love and support from Sweden ;)

  • Impossible not to love Ireland now.

  • my new favourite country :)

  • Thank you Ireland - now it is up to the rest of us to force our govts to let us vote on this appalling Treaty. If we do not stop this then heaven help us.

  • It will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Just because our leader was bullied, he tried to force us to accept the treaty. So proud to be Irish today. It's a smack in the face for those who decided that the other 26 countries had no choice. If it is brought before us again, we will simply laugh even harder and our NO will resound even louder!

  • All love goes to Ireland tonight, you have made millions of people across Europe happy. i knew you guys wouldn't let us down !!!

  • Thanks, let justice and freedom reign!

  • /agree

    Well done Ireland!

    Thankyou from germany.

We are proud that there is a country which stands for democracy. Our freaking leaders didn´t let us vote against the reform treaty.

    No words, I´m totally grateful.

  • Es ist ein Skandal, dass diese Verfassung nicht demokratisch durch europaweite Referenden ratifiziert wird. Auf diesem Dokument baut die Demokratie auf, also braucht es auch die demokratische Legitimation!!!

  • Thank you for this vid, shows us there isn't time for any celebrations just yet, we still have to fight hard, and dig our feet in and slow march against the tide of corruption, and cut through it, with our two great weapons: Wisdom and Compassion, which unite to create democracy-If they ignore the vote, there will have to be europe-wide revolutionary protests, if they think they can ignore the will of the people, they can go rule themselves in prison.

  • if they do try to push it through then it will be a lot easier to warn people about what is going on. it wont be some crazy conspiracy but on mainstream media
