Yep the card is build into the 900 model, makes it great to work with straight from the off.
Putting the card into monitor mode couldnt get any easier with this.
Have you checked out remote-exploits in google, might be helpful for driver info on your HP Mini.

Thanks to this video I have just ordered my self a new Eee (Black 901). Cant wait to get get it now I know that backtrack 3 works nicely.
Tell me: What did you press as it waqs booting into bt3? You pressed return followed by spacebar - what was that for?
When I boot it on my own desktop I dont press anything during boot up.

choose boot from usb, sd card is classified the same in bios. I am running BT3 from 1gb sd card.

You can boot from usb faster by pressing "esc" instead of "F2" ;-)

I would have never known about backtrack 3 if it wasn't for your videos.
I had been using wireshark but this is so much better.
