  • Jeremy Clarkson from the Police special

" De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da Da"

  • My dad loved this tune, even tho it's christmas comming up this is 4 u Dad

  • I always thought he says "wrecks me" , so I dunno.

  • is 41 too late to start rocking...hard?

  • @bolivianinjaindio1 ..It's a question of stamina..

  • one of my favorite bands, just saying.

  • is it arrests me or rapes me? don't mean to be intrusive, but I just wanted confirmation out of curiosity.

  • bella non la ricordavo ...un giovanissimo Sting

  • increible nunca pasaran de moda----lalo---ocaña -colombia

  • WOW, The Police at Haystack, Vermont!

  • "Their LOGIC ties me up and arrests me"...

  • @0pillar "Their logic ties me up and RAPES me..."

  • Typos: y+7. J and K, p and o. and my fingers aren't even fat!!

  • The song doesn't say7 much, but it sure picks me up on a rainy day

  • yeah you can say that

  • Hell yes it was FAMOUS...INFAMOUS!!!

  • Yes it was, any problem with it kid? Afraid of people actually singing instead of machines or what?

  • No I don't have any problem with it! I like this music and I just wanted to know if it was famous! any problem with that?

  • wow Sting was sooo young... LOL

these songs will never be made again...

    Good Old times :)

  • I woke up to this song this morning - ooooh, what a nice start into the day! : D

  • whys him in the snow? I dont rember they in that video..

  • He was an english teacher? HOw awesome would that have been to have him as an english teacher. Haha those students were lucky

  • This is BIG song

  • Timeless

  • Once some dumb punk put a gun in my mouth to scare me and I done doo-doo in me drawers.

  • lol

  • all i can say is that Police was a great band in their time,so thumbs up for Police!!!!yeah!!!!

  • agreed. but their music is still huge these days. gotta love em

  • you are right Tylord1990 they are classic and they will remain as one of the most greatest band of all times im agreed with you also.

  • lol. strange. very, very strange. but good all the same.

  • Sting really has an eloquent vocabulary, honest he must have done fantastic in english class.

  • He was actually a school teacher who taught English before quitting and working on his music full time. But make no mistake..one of the reasons he is gifted with words is that he is an avid reader. He consumes books like water. Thankfully he chose to use that gift to elevate the language in pop music and was one of the few to make it literate. I will always appreciate him for that.

  • @psychicwhoosh yes! he always prided himself on being 'intelligent' ,and so it was easy to identify with these guys back then-they literally had no competition, yet they were ambitious and so damn successful-y'just gotta hate these guys-haha...sting was lucky to have the other guys,as they were to have him...the bastards! hahaha!

  • I really liked that comercial

  • lol, they sucked at making videos, but you gotta love there style.

  • true

  • the police are much better at making music videos compared to "It's My Life" by "Talk Talk"

  • Dorks? These guys rocked out loud!

    *sudden realization of age*

    *puts hands down

  • hehe ^.^

  • what the fuck

  • de do do do de da da da what good lyrics LOL.

    p.s its a great song (-:

  • shut up, now your classics

  • Homo's huh, I guess they can't all be Lil' Wayne. By the way the older that guy gets the more he looks like Golem from Lord of the Rings. "Gimme back my precious, shorty."

  • its a music video they can do whatever the fuck they want!

  • Very interesting! They're singing tropical music in a high latitude location.

  • The Police are Brilliant, even today!!! Matt.

  • why is everyone bagging on the video?

    they were just having fun.

  • the police rule4d their time and still have a cult following thats bigger than most of these wannabe bands that are in the charts now

  • ..."homos"..thas ur musical critique..just some of the best musicians on the planet..& it wuz the 80's n they were just in fashion..they can outplay, out-write, n outsing anything Ive seen today...try n duplicate whut they do..u'll fall miserably short..so go ahead n call 'em homos..as u sit on ur couch eatin cheetos n criticizing whut u have very little comprehension of....

  • how is his guitar making noises?

  • axaxaxaxaxaxa... :)

  • It's plugged into his ass and the sound comes out of his mouth

  • LMAO

  • pretty weak.

  • " checks left unsigned for the banks of chaos in my mind"

    Fucking Brilliant!!

  • There SNOT is frozen to there faces!!!!

  • Poor Stewart. Id be so PISSED!!

Id be like "get me the f off this HILL"!!!!

He always gets stuck looking like a fool in these "cheap" but great videos!!

  • Played this song along with the rest of Zenyatta over and over and over at my parents' shore place in OC, NJ in the summer of 1981..... My HEROES FOREVER.........................

  • I still think Stewart Copeland could beat Sting's ass

  • They are all freaking badass

  • great song.

  • crazy title,but good song,band and singer.

  • Happy to be here. Just shoot the fucking video. IMHO.

  • What guitar is Andy "using" in this :L?

it looks like Brian May's Special Red???

  • its a Gibson Les Paul Double-Cutaway, and ya, it does look like brian may's

  • If you're talking about the lead guitar in this video... I HIGHLY Doubt that it is a Gibson Les Paul Double-Cutaway... It appears to be a "Knock-Off." Look at the pick guard (wrong shape), the head stock (wrong shape), the pickups (not Humbuckers and the spacing is wrong) & the knobs (single set - they're double on the Les Paul). It is a guitar that "Resembles" a Gibson. I don't consider myself an "Authority," but I do own 3 Gibsons... so I do know a little bit about them.

  • oh ya, my mistake. didnt see that at first. what i dont understand though is why would he be playing a knock-off? it might be custom

  • oh wait, i saw the headstock, its a Hamer. they arent very mainstream, but i think gibson owns them.

  • This song reminds me some most inportant politic speak and they say .....nothing....

  • Great song and AWESOME band! : )

  • I like to do me do-do and pee-pee at the same time

  • i cant find the beet

  • The "BEET" is next to the turnip in the larder.

  • Don't think me unkind...words are hard to find... I love the simplicity of the 80's.

  • Does anyone remember the 80's movie this song was in?

  • The Policeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! The best I ever seen + heard in my life!!!! If I am a guitarist is due to them...

  • im a guitarist due to them as wells

  • Brytyjski Lady Pank :)

  • i love this song, it sounds a bit funny, whats a do do do and a da da da, lets not forget i was born in 1980 it came out then, so i was born the year of the do do do and the da da da, lol....theyre excellent

  • mmm... nice one... also check out SUMMERTIME by A BAND CALLED BERT

  • Maybe I heard this song like once or twice in my life, definetly early 80s

  • This video was made at Morin Heights Quebec during the recording of Zenyatta Mondatta at Le Studio.

  • I love this song, this band and this video. Nothing much to say for me, but I just plain LOVE the Police. They always had good songs, you never usually here them on the radio... But, I agree. I love Stewart. He was so cute. I love him in the video... Only 3 more days until Sting's birthday. Oct 2nd. <3

  • maybe I am crazy, but I have no idea what are they singing about ... but I love the song though :D Sting, I love you

  • "An articulate song about being inarticulate." Love it!

This was in Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out, Stewart got it all on that camera of his. :D

It's really fun to watch; it's watching this whole video from his perspective. It makes you feel like you were actually there, and you were him, shooting another Police video with Andy and Sting.

  • The good old days when videos told a story, hmm, no one ever knew what the stories were about, but, lol.

Hey, better than today, where all girls know what to do is be exploited by selling videos based on how much skin they can get away with showing.

    So cheers for this.

  • are the drunk ?

    still a great song .

  • yeah! I like this song

  • They look so happy playing together

  • Sting looks very nice here

  • haha i love this tune, classic. Very creative video playing out un the snow and i love the red pants and red Hamer guitars. By the way where can i get that bass? it's a Hamer 8 string explorer blitz Z thing, it looks cool.

  • yes it is an ancient language that is over 5,000 years old and roughly transtaled into english it mean, "Boy are you a Simple SOB"

  • De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da lol

  • Summers is the man he is so underated it sickens me. I think he is very talented and far overlooked. To be Honest I think sting is the least talented by musical standards. Though he makes up for it by lyrical.

  • i agree

  • ll sting rules

  • Cancion dedicada a Isabel Gracia ...mi gran amor

  • RPEM DI TIUSM

  • i like there songs but i hate there music videos

  • it was the early 80's before people wasted fortunes on Music Videos, like the over rated and over played JaY-Z and Lil Wayne. I doubt you appreciate art either

  • esta ta chida primer mexicano q pasa

  • Sting is so hot. =v=

  • I didn't even know this song had a video

  • Goerge Harrison could not even duplicate the tabulations and chord patterns Summer's is utilizing in this song.

  • Of course he could He was amazing!!

  • To this day I am an accomplished percussionist. I cannot replicate Copeland's drum patterns and Roxanne is impossible to play even by the best of the drummers in the world!

  • amazing!!

  • the other Members of My band usta Foul the Air with this Crap

  • The Police were such a huge part of the '80's....great music...doesnt get any better than this.

  • i love police videos

  • I love the Police. But Sting solo was or isn't as great. Don't even know if he's doing any music anymore

  • Sting once said that he made this song to show that simple things can have great power over things. The meaning being that a song as simple as this one can have a powerful effect on people

  • Poets, priests and politicians have words to thank for their positions. Words that scream for your submission. And no one's jammin their tradition. What a great line. Sting was such a good writer.

  • OK, I hate skiing but with these guys even I would have enjoyed it!! : D Love the vid, love The Police!

  • I love it. =)

  • bandas inmortales no como las de ahora que dan asco

  • ke gran grupo

  • I like the police alot...i really do...but is it just me or do all there songs have the same vibe?
