Keep in mind that this was only the 2nd tournment after the game had been out. I think... the game had been out a month at this point?
Still, if you think you should do well, you absolutely should go try! :D There's no better way then finding out, and improving, then actually being there. You'll never know otherwise, right?
Ya I considered it but to be honest.........there is no way in hell I'd travel across the country to play a game. But ya I figured it was only a bit after due to the fact the asura GI'd a low. But to me it just seemed like they weren't very experienced with him period. I've been playing with kilik since I was about 9, and its my experience that every single move he has, has its own unique purpose and learning him is more a matter of learning what to do when, and how to chain it together. But...
Yes but the reason I said I knew it was old is because it didn't always do that. Originally it GI'd both mids and lows, but only horizontals. It was patched later on to GI mid verticals as well, and stopped GI'ing low and instead just tech jumped it.
One of the funniest comments I've read. This video was put in August 30th.. everyone's improved a ton since then.
An example.. a decent Amy player, duckie won the SC4 unofficial tournament at Evo, beating Aris. He then plays some people in NorCal and doesn't win ONE match, a few months (I think) after that tournament.
I don't play Kilik so I don't know the correct input for the move. But, its the one where he goes horizontal high and horizontal low. He kept getting you with that low everytime man.
wow this video really makes me think I could compete pretty well in a tournament

Well ya, I know realize it was just 2 tournaments into the game. I'll have to look up the more recent ones to see how or if they've improved.

Nice Kilik combos at 5:37-5:42 and 8:14-8:17. Idk though it seems the other characters easily outcombo him in this game though, especially Ivy.
