• the smile: he knows the crowd is loving it!

  • All 3 minutes and 16 seconds of that song expressed a meaning that stretches farther than we could ever imagine. Well done, m&s. God im so grateful to be living in this era with them. Haha, although they're one of our last hopes to keeping REAL music alive. Not all of that techno shit.

  • Wow, it is so great to rewatch and relive this. It was an epic set by the Mumford boys, who look like they are loving soaking up the brilliant atmosphere! The crowd were singing their hearts out. I have never been so squashed in my life, but it was worth every second. Thanks so much for posting.

  • His high E string broke and he was still playing, I love this band so much.

  • Amazing vid, however, it's "love me and mend," not "and men." It's a line from Shakespeare's play, "Much Ado About Nothing."

  • chills.

real love will not betray you.

  • when i saw them live. i cried. They are the most beautiful band ever. they have so much passion and power when they play, you can feel the emotion burst out through them into you. Just watching this brings me to tears because it's so beautiful.

  • amazing

  • This song restores my faith in all that emotional stuff..*cough* -love- *cough* Lifts me up every time.

  • no matter how big or small the crowd or how big or small the event, they still play with the same passion and the same love for music. that's why i love these guys!!! i'm so glad they made it, and they deserve every good thing have coming to them, because they are simply amazing, but what i love about them is their absolute passion for truly great music, the same it was when they started as it is now

  • This is music. This is pure music and musicians at their best. This is inspiring.

  • There's no denying that Muford and Sons are beautiful when they sing.

  • Cool! I didn't know Tim Tebow had his own band.

  • @TheRealKamikaze is that supposed to mean that one of the members looks like him? cause they kinda don't..

  • @mratvrider96 Are you saying the lead singer doesn't look like Tebow? 0:18

  • Nikki minaj's super hoe brought me here out of instinct to want to hear great inspiring music instead of run of the mill hip hop crap

  • it amazes me how can people dislike this !?

  • I wrote these lyrics to my lost love as a last goodbye, he is total ignorant of Mumford and Sons I didn't tell him, I want him to think Im a poet, it has left him with a pondering thought I feel. I will not confess because my heart was never pure :-)

  • That banjo player never fails to make me smile

  • Epic!

  • 1:39 starts the awesomeness, this band will be big, i can feel it!

  • This is the best band i have listened to in about 15 years...not sure how they can follow-up such an unbelievable album, but regardless, this is pure class. I have their CDs, have Rhapsody, but keeping coming back to the pure LIVE performances here in YT, just priceless. Fair play to them!

  • @polmaccaba01 I agree! They're the best music to come out of England since Oasis, imo. And, they sound like no one else... ever. As far as follow-up: after hearing some of their new songs, I believe their sophomore album will be even bigger and better.

  • @berrygirl964 Nice to hear their follow-up is looking good, i need them to come to Atlanta, GA, moved over from Ireland 18 yrs ago, and this is the best i have heard from across the pond since.

  • I'd hate to be the bitch blocking view at 2:58

  • up-right bass <3 :)

  • The way this song escalates is amazing. It's great music like this that makes me want to get up in the morning.

  • Roskilde 2012 please???

  • He beats the hell out of his guitar....though he never breaks strings at concerts lol

  • Absolutely magnificent!!!

  • Amazing Group and Song. Love the gal at 2:55 -

  • Whenever I'm down, or have just had a bad day, I watch this and feel hopeful again.

  • the crowds roar at 0:41 is just immense. over a year ago and i still get goosebumps.

  • I love how the piano player never has on shoes.

  • genius music

  • This is retarded good!!!!

  • Can someone please explain to me how in the hell there are 4 dislikes? How can anyone dislike this song or this band? It blows my mind.

  • marry me marcus

  • so much passion...

  • They didn't realise how big they were, absolutley amazing that this moment was caught on camera. The pride in their eyes, the smiles and knowing looks between them is beautiful. Its like they're saying 'Shit guys, I think we just made it'

  • @03devittj If my thumbs up worked on here, I'd totally like this (: haha

  • this is the ultimate home-alone song

  • October 25th! HURRY THE HELL UP!!!

  • I like the Biffy Clyro in the screen :D

  • At 2:52 Marcus breaks a string and doesn't miss a beat!!!!

  • Life-affirming

  • was muss das für ein geiles gefühl sein, wenn das eines der ersten konzerte für mumford&sons ist und alle anfangen laut deine songs mit zu singen, das sieht man in ihren gesichtern!

  • The best thing to come out of England since English Muffins

  • OMG they are so happy at the beginning that audience knows all the words

  • @Laser39 yes I also noticed that! I admire them because they have not gotten arrogant at all, despite their great success. Love em

  • ben dancing was probably the best part of the video

  • I'M SEEING THEM LIVE IN OCTOBER <3 I CAN'T WAIT

  • @camellove16

DID YOU SEE EM YET? AND WHERE? :P

  • well these guys sure blew the fuck up didn't they

  • goosebump inspiring.....

  • Awesome crowd.

  • The way the crowd echoes every word gives me chills.

  • @midgetman94 this whole concert gives me the chills, shivvers, goosebumps

  • how good is this :)

  • beautiful!

  • after rewatching Much Ado About Nothign today I couldnt help but sing the portions of the song as their lyrics came up in the play. I will never watch Shakespeare the same again.

  • @riceandpotatoes I was exactly the same way when I rewatched it.

  • fuck you, biffy clyro! no chance!

  • they are simply amazing music with a meaning so genuine

  • This makes me want to read shakespeare. They are so genuine and awesome!

  • decisions decisions. watching mumford & sons or pressing red to watch biffy clyro. i would've hated to make that choice

  • @LoweyRovers7 mumford and sons or bitchy clyro ? Mumford and sons all the way, most talented musicians out there. Pure talent non of autotune shit most bands use. They're bringing real music back .

  • their music just radiates happiness. you can just see the reaction its having on the crowd.

  • Bad part starts at 3:16

  • just watching this over and over and over..

  • 2 people have no soul...

  • It feels great to say I was there.

  • broken string.. amazing

  • Motherfuckers! They're the best thing that happened to music in the last 5 years (AT LEAST!)

  • @affeno I Completely Agree With You.

  • "Love; it will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, it will set you free!"

William Shakespeare: Much Ado About Nothing.

    This song is fucking epic!

  • @Mavrakakis while much of the verses are direct quotes from Much Ado. the chorus was not written by Shakespeare. It's Marcus' own work. And, in my opinion, one of the single greatest song lyrics ever written.

Love, it will not betray you, dismay, or Enslave you

    It will set you free.

Be more like the man you were made to be.

There is a design, an alignment,

a cry of my heart to see

the beauty of Love as it was made to be.

  • @thewalrusaurus I agree, It's an amazing song, I like what he is done with the Shakespeare quotes... They truly are a talented band.

  • magical.

  • Being an artist must feel fucking amazing when the crowd sing their lungs out to your songs. Amazing.

  • @ageiiGIRL It would have to be a definite compliment to know the masses love your music as much as yourself does. Brilliant song! They have helped me to feel emotions i didn't know i could feel anymore. Cheers to mumford and sons!!

  • @ageiiGIRL couldnt agree with you more

  • they were incredible,i cried the whole way through

  • best crowd they've ever played too? .... i think so

  • I think they chose to name there album "sigh no more" because its one they all sing in a lot. Thumbs up if you own the album "sigh no more(like me) or are planning on buying it.

  • Flawless.

  • I saw them in concert in Asheville, NC. They totally kicked butt! LOVED them! :)

  • * Over (;

  • If you dont like Mumford & Sons, you dont really appreciate the value of musik.

    Musik is supposed to be thoughts from the heart! NOT talking about how much money or how many girls you could get! Musik has gone down hill oer the past few years but Im glad i found mumford & sons because they brought good musik back to life(;

  • @XxPanicPunkGurlxX you spelled MUSIC wrong, its MUSIC, no MUSIK

  • chills all over my body. The crowd, the band... just perfect.

  • 0:43. TED!! I love you bro

  • Love it will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, it will set you free, be more like the man you were made to be.

  • I only discovered this video yesterday, and I've already replayed it so many times. It's just so beautiful and captivating ♥

  • I love it when they all sing together. It's just a small glimpse ate world peace :D

    MARCUS WINKED

    GAH

    SO SEXY >_<

  • 28,000th viewer. Sweet.

  • this is by far the best live performance ive seen of them much better than some others but this is also my fav song by them hahaha

  • Everyone singing along! So great!

  • First band that made me fall in love in every song they sing.

  • they obviously have more fun when playing in their home country :D

  • increíble

  • sigh no more one foot on land one on shore, william shakespeare sigh no more ladies!

  • I wonder how many people actually pressed that Biffy Clyro red button...

  • WOW...great audio quality, and fantastic performance. Mumford & Sons is definitely the gay side of me, and i'm straight.

  • 2:39 ummmmm what?

  • I'm sure the chorus of this song if I see it live I will cry.

  • Fucking Amazing!

  • I hadn't actually heard much m and s before I went to this gig. Safe to say it was 40 odd minutes of euphoric madness which will always remain the best show I will ever attend, period. Didn't know any of the words but I followed Ben's attitude and just went mental. 8 months on I am a Mumford Disciple through and through. Not in living memory does a band inspire the kind of joy and emotion that these boys do. Hats off to them.

  • how does this only have 20,000 views?

  • Everyones singing it, I bet they don't realise it's a song about god :L

  • @NathanMoulden Shut up,its a good song.

  • @MissStevie123 haha, I'm not saying it isn't a good song, this performance is insane. But it's just funny it's about god.

  • @NathanMoulden a big chunk of the lyrics are excerpts from Shakespeare, so the song could be about how he's affected their music... just because it mentions god doesn't mean it's "about god"

  • @17slackersphere17 I was reading this site saying it's about there reletionship with god and that even though they don't fully believe, they still do. 'One foot in sea, one on shore, my heart was never pure'

  • @NathanMoulden meh doubt anyone cares, i don't and im an athiest. How many people sing along to 'every breath you take' by Police despite the fact that its a song about a stalker.

  • @Distephano2006 I don't have a problem with it aha, just sayin' to say.

  • Ladies and gentlemen: the crescendo as only Mumford & Sons can do it

  • "Love will not betray you, dismay or enslave you

    It will set you free

Be more like the man you were made to be"

    Truly beautiful lyrics!

  • GOOOOOOSSSEEEE BUUUUUUMPPPPSSS!!!!!

  • as if he snapped a string at the end and still played it perfectly

  • one of the best debut albums i've ever heard

  • @JanWarman i agree

  • Word inspired by "Much Ado about Nothing" by Shakespeare!

  • sunny day, driving with this album up full blast, happy feckin days.......

  • gives me chills.

  • I was in that crowd not too far away from them. It was the best gig I've ever been to.
