@gab93le Thanks! Keep singing!! I never took lessons or classes and wish I did. It would have been fun and I would have learned so much but I was so self-conscious and private with my singing, until a few years ago. I didn't even join choir when I was in school. I just kept at it. Trying things, stretching myself here and there without pushing too hard. I know you will get there!!
Don't worry about Winehouse, Washington, or anyone else. You sing your own style, Your voice is in pitch, you have great tone, and a super delivery. I hear some Jo Stafford there too! Don't change or compare yourself to anyone else. Just be yourself. There are not enough young ladies like you who do such a great job with these old standards. Thank you.
