Then I must insist you change your name to Ben Reilly as you are obviously a clone of me, although some tests will discover that I am in fact the clone, then finally we will both discover that the tests were flawed to begin with, and 3 years of reader's lives will be wasted as the status quo returns.   • i have the same tv for like a week know and no problems the TV it self actually fixed the problems with the ps3 a had before

  • Thank you for asking. It's very very good actually. I've tested a PS3, 360, Wii and PC on it, and it's performed flawelessly with all of them. I had noticed some VERY MINOR ghosting while the image was warming up (usually about a minute or two after the tv turned on) but that is all, and seriously while warming up is fine.

    The only sony I noticed ghosting in was the kdl-40sl140, and that goes away when you turn off the noise reduction completely. The kdl-40v5100 has no problem ever.

  • Try a Panasonic. those are one of the best HD's.. beside Samsung. I have a 26" Vizio. It started to fade in and out .. that only happened because I put the black light extender on.. I only use it for my PS3.. I don't use it to watch t.v.. the main thing I hate about LCD TV screens is that they are WAAAY too sensitive.. like.. damn.. you can barely even accidently hit it, and it will mess up the screen..

  • I got an email today saying that my new tv shipped. That was all. No tracking information, no eta so I could plan ahead. Just tv shipped, thank you no further questions.

  • Okay they didn't fix it, they said they're giving me a new one. In two weeks.

  • Update: My problem has made it to the national Sony customer support guys, who have been keeping me updated with progress for the last two weeks. They finally called me and said they had a fix and would be sending a technician to fix it within a day or two. Usually if the issue is software they don't have a tech fix it, but I don't think they want to risk me screwing anything up, or they might need to replace more than the software, they might have to replace hardware like last time.

  • Regardless of whatever version of tv I bought, I could've bought an S or SL, IT SHOULD STILL WORK!

  • sony will never see this video. Dude u should have gone with the W-series or X. you should sell it and get a Samsung or a Panasonic Plasma.
