@BlueTunisia It's rare enough to find someone who sees the value of the free market, let alone someone who also speaks Mandarin :) Did you live in China for any period of time?
@chris3443 Austrian economics and Mandarin are my favorite things =) But if you ask me, the two go hand-in-hand perfectly considering how the world is changing today. No, I only visited in 2007 and 2008 (one month). Your videos are awesome!!
Your Mandarin is simply amazing. The contents are great too. I had to read the original to understand it thoroughly. I will use this to study Chinese. Bravo !!
Awesome translation, but I wholeheartedly disagree. It is blatantly obvious that our current recession is not caused by government intervention, but rather, by the lack thereof of it. Yes, a heavy-handed gov't can hamper growth, BUT a finance industry that can get away with practically creating money out of thin air is even more dangerous. Austrian economics doesn't look into empirical data as a basis for its theories, instead claiming that such is self-evident. It is therefore unscientific.
@jeois411 Bush said, "Wallstreet got drunk." BUT who was giving out the alcohol?? The American government rubber stamped these banks and loans with the FDIC and Fannie and Freddie. Also, the federal reserve of the US kept interest rates artificially low through heavy money creation from 1981 to 2004. On top of that, the government bailed these bastards out and took over there "toxic" assets.
to work for somebody is not the only way to earn money,in today's China, the minimum wage is low enough that makes me lose intention to work for somebody.finally I chose self-employment.
Who were those dorks with the 'un-free market signs'? It was basically bank regulations that prevented Canadian banks from doing the same shit American banks were doing.
where did you learn chinese? study in univiersity or just pick it up?
