  • not bad... here is another one...

Blaukraut bleibt Blaukraut und Brautkleid bleibt Brautkleid

  • Cute how much you like the word "Zungenbrecher"!

    Nice pronounciation! ^^

  • lol !!! The Germen word for Tonguetwister sounds different xDD. Omg it sounds very awfull if you say the word. " Zungen brecher " not " zungese brecker " xD. It must be very difficult for you to speak the "ch". not "ck". you have to press the air between your tongue and the "high part of the inside of your mouth". Sry that sounds stupid, but i can't discribe this. Well then. go on.

  • Thanks for watching and for the tips!!!

  • You can do that better than me! And I am German XD

I keep putting an 'R' in the last 'Fischers' all the time too.

  • Thanks Peikko:) You should have heard me the first few times I practiced it though. I was pretty bad:)))

  • Well, I've been practising for 20 years and still can't do it properly, hehe.

  • You shaved! haha i'm sorry, i have no idea when you did it. My Computer is bah lately. I haven't been able to watch yours and so many other's videos because some of them are quite long. My computer over heats and the sound a video gets all choppy. I'm usually only able to watch 2 or 3 short vids at a time. Argh. I miss watching your's!! Damn my computer! lol

    - D

  • Sorry to hear about your computer Mommyd. Ya I actually did a shaving video just a couple of vids ago. It runs about 8 minutes so your computer might not be up to it these days. Thanks so much for watching. Hopefully you'll get your computer glitches straightened out soon.

  • 5 stars!!! I'm with you Blink on the "Z" word. Let's start a movement to completely eliminate the term "tongue twister" in favor of the German "Z" word. Ok, so I can't remember how to spell it, but I will study it before we take this movement to the world. hehehe

  • Hehehehe. Thanks Lisa:) It *is* a cool word isn't it. I just saw beeke comment it literally translates to "the thing which breaks tongues" which actually is even cooler than it translating to tongue twister:) We may need to start some sort of political ballot inititive or something LOL. I just watched Gary's vid and I may have pronounced the "U" in it wrong but I can say it either way.

  • There is no way I could do it so Rock On Blink! great job

  • Thanks Furnifur:)

  • Excellent job. I gave you 5 stars just for effort alone. Funny how your beard's MIA status is getting so much attention here.

BTW - I've known a two guys who died their beards who complained of the same thing: roots the very next day.

  • Blinky...thanks so much...you did a great job! Good that you had fun with the lovely German word "ZUNGENZERBRECHER" which means, literrally translated...the thing which breaks tongues...may be I should have put a littele caution ..Anyway...thanks, you did great!

  • Thanks Beeke:) Hehehehe, ya I can see now where Brecher would translate to Breaker. I hadn't thought about it. This was fun.

  • I must say you look younger without the beard. :-)

  • Thanks Sue. I do kinda miss it though. I feel a bit naked. But, like I've just mentioned in another comment, I tend to grow beards and shave them off quite often. Maybe one of these times I'll see if I can color it. That's something I've never tried. I don't know how well that works for beards.

  • A drippy blackberry pie does the trick as my brother discovered one time!

  • Hehehehe. that sounds like that should do the trick. Maybe I would get used to the sticky after a while.

  • When yours grows back perhaps a pie beard dying challenge?

  • Hehehehe. Sounds good to me brian:) I'm not sure when I'll grow mine back, and of course it would take a while for my beard to get long enough. You could take the lead and I'd post a vid response to yours. Hopefully a few other greybeards would join in. I think it would be an pretty funny group of vids if several people joined in.

  • lol

  • Better than my effort I reckon even if you have to watch your r's

  • I don't know, you did a very good job I thought. Adding an r to that next to last word really kept bedeviling me.

  • o no u shaved

  • Whoops, sorry about that:)) Now I need to come up with some interesting videos to make up for this great loss. First I need to take nap though. ZZZZZ. Sorry for the shock. I know it's a bit jarring at first:))

  • oh no ... no no no. tell me you didnt shave

  • Sorry about that. Don't worry, I'll eventually rejoin the brotherhood of the beard:) I've got a long history of growing beards and shaving them off so this isn't anything new for me except in YouTube terms. My very early vids were without a beard.

  • And now, the flurodated version, Mmmmmmm? All thoses 'F's - it's just perfect for it!

  • Hehehehe. I think I'll forgo the fluoridated version on this one. My mirror would probably still smell like sardines even after cleaning up all those fishy words.

  • BTW, The first of this video might seem a bit odd because I repeat myself. That's just because I've started to whenever possible upload the raw .MOV file straight from my camera rather than edit with Windows Movie Maker and have to go through file conversions, extra time, and video quality loss.
