this dosent seem to run that smooth :P cool but dont really understand the reason to emulate if it dosent run smoothly. Does the dolphin play gc smoothly nowadays or is that also a bit slow?
This is a very old build of the emulator. This game runs fullspeed easily nowadays. (we are up around 5100 svn now and this vid was made 7 months ago). Oh you emulate then for compatibility and stability then work up to speed.
@jedikevin20 is your computer 32bit nowadays because 32bit computers are really slow on dolphin,64bit is a whole lot faster than 32bit thats why u can see some videos that can run GC games on dolphin at fullspeed and sometimes overspeed,if your user is still 32bit an not 64bit nowadays,i would be happy to ask u this,what exactly dolphin svn are u using for this game? coz i am using 32bit too
I use both though for me 32 bit is faster on all games outside of f-zero. The only games that are slower in 32 bit are those that use the TLB hack. If you search through the google code, you will see a developer slowed down the 32 bit version of tlb hack. Right now i'm still sitting on spellforces 5006m as dolphin as a whole as slowed down alot as the developers are working more on compatibility and plugin fixes then speed. I do try the newest svns but certain games get buggy.
4862 was the svn that started the 32 bit slowdown.. There is a issue 2119 that addresses it but sadly the developers have all but moved onto other things then fixing what was changed. hopefully a developer will come back to fix it but for some GC games will run slow on 32 bit compared to 64 bit. Dolphin Developers have been all over the place lately on the direction of dolphin. I really don't know what they are really trying to do. Right now its ALL controller plugin, error fixes

Watchdog is no longer needed or works on anything past the early 4000 svns.

the patch is extremely old and does not work anymore. Just go grab a new svn

How did you get it to run? I freezes for me. It freezes at the screen that says Wii then japanese writing. Please help

you need to go download the wii save file. Same concept as with Mario Kart wii.
