  • funny shit mate

  • 你屙咩咁恐怖-__-

  • that's because not all cantonese characters ends sharply when being bleeped =].

all cantonese characters can be sorted into 9 ways of pronounciation.

the first 6 sounds should be elongated. but they have different tones.

and the last 3 sounds (with 'p' ,'t' and 'k' ends) were evolved from 3 of the 6 sounds above.

so some characters have the some tone but one of them might end sharply and the other might not. you can ask your hk friend to catch on.

  • does it end with the sound k or without k?

  • @chamionandon not yet. in the phonetic transcription of cantonese, when the words end with 'k', it means the words should be spoken in sharp end and the sounds shouldn't be elongated

you can collated the cantonese pronounciations between 石 and 蛇 (shek and sia)

  • @4everl0v3edward just like 'at' without t sound and 'and' without d sound :D

  • @chamionandon and also, when the charaters end with 'p' or 't', it also means the charaters should be spoken in sharp end and the sounds shouldn't be elongated.

but the charaters with these 3 ends have different sound when they get bleeped.

  • @chamionandon sorry, they DO NOT have different sound but have different tones. thats their differences.

  • @4everl0v3edward alright after reading your explicit explanation and repeating the video,i now understand the sound.but just the other day ,when my hong kong friend said a phrase "eat shit'(se si) the shit sounded like si which is a bit different from your "bao se" ? thanks a lot btw is there pronunciation dictionary i can look up in?

  • @chamionandon for the pronunciation dictionary, you can search"Chinese Character Database"(or 粵語審音配詞字庫) on google.the search function in this web is only support the chinese~ you can translate words on google's translation web. this web will explain chinese character you searched but the only nuisance is you need to install Quicktime before you press the speaker's icon and hear the sound.

  • Awesome Carlos... Keep up the great work! Freaking hilarious!

  • How do you say in Cantonese "You and your magic underwear can piss off out of here". Maybe even "Mormonism, the only religion that's been directly falsified via DNA evidence".

If I knew a few of these it might stop me wanted to cock punch home schooled simpletons when i see them trying to poison the minds of the gullible over seas.

  • So somehow, he poops out exploding rocks and wants to eat some more..... XD

  • Isnt it just "oh see"? Lol

  • thanks again Carlos. F!:%@#! hilarious. How about that first character for bao? how does that relate to the other bao(like bun, or the one on my chessboard)? Anyone? -Cantonese learning Gwai-loh

  • @thezorroguy 包(bao for bun) and 爆(bao for explosion) have the same pingyum except they're pronounced using different tones. I guess you could say 包 is pronounced using a higher tone while 爆 is lower.

  • You said it more like... "bun rock" instead of "exploding rock".

  • @TheJamestsang ahahahahahaa

  • >< loll chinese ppl use a spoon to eat rice, not a fork.

  • He didn't wash his hands....

  • @sillygirl5201314 actually, i dont think he really went to baau sehk

  • @wty417 it's true! :)

  • Every person from Hong Kong knows this slang. No one uses it normally, only as a joke, because it's kind of vulgar. But just because people don't use it doesn't make it not well known. It's like the term "The John" for a toilet. No one really says that. Do most people know that term? I'm pretty sure yes.

  • @erilee84 very true! usually you would just say it to family members or friends, not with random people

  • I don't think that's actually a popular slang, I hardly heard people say that.

  • I think "All Si" is better than "Baau Sehk"

  • @AnthonyChungChung1 same thing :) baau seek is slang though, aw si literally means go poop

  • gd try

  • 0:44 LOL XP

  • wait he didnt wash his hands!!!! ewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @shortyjdm great!! thats why i make them! :)

  • I like your 爆石 sound effects! HEEHEEE

  • @GotTakoyaki thanks! :)

  • lol I think you should make clear that that's considered a rude slang so people don't go around saying it loudly in public! XD
