I've driven this route about a hundred times. Never got hit here. I was hit in Samarra proper. Luckily, nobody was hurt. Many good soldiers weren't so lucky in Samarra during OIF III, or in Ramadi during OIF IV. TF 3-69 AR, 3rd ID.

When I see posts on here disrespecting the sacrifices of US Soldiers, it infuriates me. I love how suddenly war is taboo. It is so easy for some activist in LA, New York or Europe to deride our efforts. Anyone remember when we helped you fight the Nazis? Guess not.
