that's because winter is a challenging season for bass fishing. But I garenteed you that if you do catch a winter bass, you'll learn more than you will catching a summer bass. Go go out there in the winter and win yourself a fish, it will be tough, but you'll learn alot.
These don't work man I tried them. They need to stop lying to us just trying to get us to buy them. Heck I used a live worm I dug up and it still works better. Fish are smarter nowadays. I bet smarter then these guys!
haha way to keep positive john, hey i've finally got a chance to through your clear chartreuse, and cell mate MD series, Pretty Awesome, today's probably the first day of Fall fishing here in Central California. hope we have a good fall here
hey i live in NH and i fish a lake with weeds but very little there are rock ledges and island out in the middle of the lake and 10 to 15 feet of water were do you think i should fish late spring early summer and what bait should i be using
Nice video....I just hired you for my fantasy fishing team....I know Smith is close to you...I am sure you'll do well.....If not I may fire you.....lol just kidding good luck this weekend.....God Bless
John..... thanks for making the best shallow crankbait on the market BAR NONE. I love this bait and when the prespawn heats up here in a few weeks, I'll be killing 'em with my Rootbeer/Chartreuse (the color you show in the video). Would you consider adding a "sexy shad" version to the line?
is there any special reel that i should use when i use these lures, some people told me to use the bait casting and others have told me it doesnt matter.
I just started using your Spro Little Johns in the firetiger and the chart/black black. They are by far the best crankbait on the market today. I have used them all and plan on giving most away except the little john's. They have won me a ton of dough here in the mid-atlantic area. Thanks Again!!!!!
i like using mono because it has a little bit of stretch and i mostly fish likes with very litte heavy cover, some people like to use flouro and braid because its sensitive and braid can be used it really heavy cover situations and also i would suggest using anywhere from 10-14 pound test depending on the structure your fishing some people who fish the delta here in california use 50 pound braid when they fish the heavy timber and weeds just make sure u use weedless trebles to keep from snags
When all else fails, read the manual. Some do a great job explaining the reel. You might be talking about the brake. This controls the speed that the spool spins.
or it might be the drag. the drag is how hard the fish has to pull to pull out line. with lighter line you want to loosen the drag so that you don't snap your line.
all of em seem good any time of the year....lol. so chartruese is good in the staind water is what i got out of it, Browns and reds good for spring. i give it a try thanks! "thisa one good for the spring and the fall" u said that like 5 times. lol
Thanks for the tips. But man, I think I'm the only person in the world who hates fishing with cranks... I always snag everything and I've only caught one fish with them. I always give them a try but I never seem to have a good experience with them :-\. Who knows though, maybe this spring will be different
is it mee or is every lure good for all season :p

sorry about all the questions but out of all those crank baits witch ones do u think would do the best in the valley the water down there is murky?
americanmuscle45 3 years ago
would those cranks work good even though i dont have a boat? becaise im only 17 and i cant really go a lot of places other then in the valley
americanmuscle45 3 years ago
Like all lures it has a place and time. If the situation calls for a shallow crank, Little John will catch em!
johncrewsmissile 3 years ago
is there any special reel that i should use when i use these lures, some people told me to use the bait casting and others have told me it doesnt matter.
americanmuscle45 3 years ago
I prefer Abu Garcia REVO reels- baitcasting. You can use spinning reels and they will do fine as well.

Question. What pound line would you use for these cranks, are they more effective using a certain line, mono or fluorocarbon?
