  • @meberic and kinger555...I agree with both of you. It's always tough to see guys from the Golden Age getting old seeing their health decline. A lot of guys from the Golden Era were so humble and laid back

  • @Joaovitordecezaro I was thinking the same thing -- tricep kickbacks is a lightweight exercise even if you are really strong.

Eds a beast go to modesto ca golds gym and see for yourself. 150 kickbacks,dumbell rows, shrugs, full stacks plus 45s added for all machine equipment, 6 plates ea side ham str rows, 8 plates ea side leg press, can beast pullups, and does insane abs b4 every workout. its called digging down deep. something u obviously need to learn nub.

  • @TheWhiteflip91 if you know all about Ed Corney, make a video and show us how this old man can handle such weights......PROVE IT! I seem to remember seeing Ed in a wheel chair(maybe in the updated Pumping Iron DVD). If you observe, most of the "pros" cheat every rep = they are using more than they can properly/no strict reps. "Nub" is that street slang?

  • No Pain No Gain is incorrect.

    There is no pain in lifting weights. People confuse the words pain and effort. It should read No Effort No Gain.

  • @LuckyGuu Between a slim bug and a big guy that they are going in hte gym it is ... PAIN.. passing the pain your muscle -screams- and says stopped to the brain... But how could you GAIN muscle if you don't pass the barrierrr?!!!

  • @MrBuByLa what part of lifting weight is painful? I don't feel any pain, NONE. I do think it's the extreme effort it takes that people hate. Most people who don't lift, don't say, "If not for the pain, I'd lift all the time." They know it's just the EFFORT.

  • @LuckyGuu you dont feel the pain because you use a small weight on the bar and maybe that's not your PAIN. the same thing it's at me... i do warm reps with 100 kg. when i reach to 200 kg than i feal a bit of pain and by every rep. it's getting worst :).. on those seconds.. you have to pass the Pain and to Gain muscle and force !

  • @MrBuByLa if you are talking about pain during squatting, from the bar resting on your upper back/behind your neck..........then wrap it with a towel or foam or other cushion, this is not what I am talking about. Some lifters fell "burning" during leg extensions, I have felt that many times, this is the only pain I have ever felt. Of course I am not big and strong like you
