Camera zoom is fooling you. The orb never left her field of vision. It rapidly left the closeup, but she was not looking through the camera. She was looking directly at the orb, so she saw it move to the new position. She had a clear view when it moved.
Consider it as one of many WTC ufo's caught on film. Dozens appear in 9/11 footage. Once you know to look for them, they are hard NOT to see. Some examples are

To be precise, it was promoted as a VIEWER SUBMISSION TO the SciFi Channel, back in 2000. It was reported as coming to them with the following cover letter:

The woman in the helicopter looks like Barbara Sicuranza, whose name would match the "Barbara S." on the letter. Sicuranza is a minor NYC actress who NOW says this clip was "CGI", and who puts it on her resume as "The Blimp." I think someone got to her and she changed her story after 9/11.

She was looking directly at it. Her field of view was not obstructed by looking into the tube of a camera. It did move fast, but it stayed within her field of view. So she alerted the cameraman as fast as she could.
