No its just because the AI director places a tank that can sometimes be visable from the saferoom. It rarely happens though. It's happened to me on the 360 too (this vid is the PC version you can tell from the HUD) It RARELY happens though (i only got it 1 or 2 times on No mercy)

Eh', if you've got the PC version of L4D, do the modded servers 7 .vs. 7 , 8 .vs. 8 , they have double tanks at once, and on some levels they keep spawning.

Yeah, we played a DL campaign called 'Night Terror' and there was one level with graffiti on the wall that said to run because guns were useless. After running past a line a panic event started, accompanied with the Tank cue. We had to run like hell over a thin bridge, and by the time I got to the safe room the same Tank was still chasing us, and I heard ANOTHER Tank appear. I guess that they were infinite until we all got in the room.

I don't know if they've fixed it, but if you want to stop a tank getting through a safe room door, crouch right up to it. I think the tank tries to hit you but cant, anyway it should still work.

I choose the assault rifle because its between short and long range weapon. It wastes ammo like a bitch but its worth it. It helps a lot to keep my team mates alive. For smokers long hunters short (not shooting me team mates). Plus it mows down hordes. :D

I rape with the assault rifle on L4D. My aim is always dead on. Only times I miss are when zombies are pelting me with punches. But yea most of the time hunter head shots when pounced on are luck. Ive gotten a few headshots when I timed it right with my SHOTGUN.
