Thank you! Yes, I used to have a wonderful, handmade mountain dulcimer many years ago! I'm glad you brought that up -- I should really get another one! Back then, I picked out by ear: A Case of You, Carey, and a few other Joni tunes. I was a huge fan of hers, as you can guess!
