these dudes suck half them holes are razors that they say are sand shrimp , and you should get the clam in one try with the gun ..... hes gone after 2 or three tries
@sbcconsulting you're bragging about being a good with a clam gun? start bragging when you can routinely get them with one shovel scoop and not break them, actually people who are that good rarely talk about how "good" they are at digging. plus these are little kids without much weight to push the gun down with. and no they were right about the sand shrimp. you lose everywhere bud.
You're right! The gun has a hole you need to plug with your thumb when pulling it up. (vacuum suction) The plastic ones costs around $15, but lasts only a few digging sessions. The metal one cost $30+, last much longer.
@ArticAkita basically, but it's gotta have holes in a way so that you can cover the handles after pushing it all the way down to the sand to create the suction thing to pull the sand out.

You can eat them. We don't fish with them. I guess you could. But it is a waste if you do.
