  • P.S.S. I'm Tim Long

  • I guess its about time that I put in my own 2 yen's worth. Listen, I'm honored that the film is dedicated to me, but I don't deserve the credit. The ultimate credit goes to Machiavelli, in who's spirit we filmed the original Kadena Coup. I consider Colton a good friend of mine and I hate to see him in such a craptastic film. The magical original Kadena Coup was captured at a blissful time in several young mens' lives. Things like that don't just happen.

P.S. You guys really needed a ninja...

  • ...that's so fucking retarted I'm not even sure what to say. You call me gay because I ridiculed an arrogant bastard who mocked my friends. I can understand if you don't like the film but don't take it out in personal insults. Therefore you may, in fact, go fuck yourself.

    ...

While we're engaging in you're petty insults, you're also a Douchebag.

See how stupid that is? Just how fucking retarted your last comment was?

  • I'd love to see the original, but even assuming it's amazing I was more discussing his personal offenses towards friends of mine and his demeanor.

Furthermore you've equally little knowledge of what went into this video, things about the new administration and how they've truly stripped away any video class at even the hint of something controversial. Mrs. Trueheart got Man on the Street shut down because someone said something (not even offensive) about fat people.

  • Sincerely,

On behalf of the SLACKER film crew,

    Daniel J. King

  • While I would agree that the film is hardly laudable, take into account that they respected you enough to at least attempt to revive what you had done. They looked up to you, and if you had any decency within you, either of you, I'd say you ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

    All too honestly,

In no way connected with the film other than by friendship to members of the cast and crew,

speaking on behalf of all offended,

    Vernon Miles,

    Class of 2010

  • Tumorguy,

How does the idea of the creators of this "film" respecting us have anything to do with how we should interpret its overall quality? You said it yourself. The video is hardly laudable. We're just replacing your euphemism with more direct language: the video blows.

Lighten up. It's only an opinion after all.

    - Jarred

  • It was not so much the callous derision of their efforts that so offended me, or even the pompus generalizationand the quite hostile belittling of the entire class, but rather the revolting arrogance exibited by all (lazarusshort314 notwithstanding). It's truly sickening.

But that's just an opinion, lighten up dude.

  • You sound ridiculous, Tumorguy.

  • You sound ridiculous, Tumorguy.

  • Yeah, I suppose I do sound ridiculous. Hell, I am a little ridiculous and argumentative. What gave it away? Anyway, it was the pompusness of the original critic and the great offense towards friends of mine that sparked this polemic.

  • Having said that, I must admit that I appreciate your taste in music, and you seem to have some skill with filming and editing.

However, I find this movie altogether lacking in redeeming qualities. I can't really blame you though. Obviously your generation does not have a comedic genius like Tim Long, and I pity you that.

Talent limitations nonwithstanding, I must beseech you to at least try to make a movie worthy of the Kadena Coup namesake. Please, challenge yourselves a little.

  • "Your Generation"?

...you're the class of 2006, they're 2008. I'm not sure how mathematics work in "your generation", but in ours that works out to be a two year difference. Hardly a generational gap. Affronting an entire class as such based solely off a single project done by a single class is laughable at best, contemptibly stupid at worst. This is not Colton's greatest exhibition of acting, having performed alongside him on many an occasion I can promise you this.

  • I agree, very good taste in music.

While the film WAS my idea, you wrote the script, filmed, and edited. So you're really the genius. We all know that even the crappiest movie can be amazing as long as the editor is good.

  • Hello there.

My name is Daniel J. King. My friends are Jarred Sanders, Tim Long, Jon Armani, and Christopher Breazile. Sound familiar?

I am the writer, director, editor, and co-star of Kadena Coup. The REAL Kadena Coup. After watching your cinematic feature, I wish simply to ask how this video could be at all related to the class of 06's masterpiece. You seem to be missing some key elements, such as plot, characters, contraversial subject matter, inflamatory satire, and acting.

  • I take no issue with your critique of this intellectual pilferage, only your generalization of our "Generation" and your distinct and, to be quite honest, destestable air of arrogance. I do not believe we've met, but out of respect to Chris I will give the original Kadena Coup the benifit of the doubt (having never seen it I will assume it's as amusing as you claim it to be).
