I straight out love this fucking song.."and sure,it seems easy now, but I'll tell you what, we were perplexed...finding the needle in the needle's disguise."
waz over a millon bulb's on an old Army dropnet and two genarater's in the uhaul outside to power it. It waz a great show. His mom and sister where stage right also durning this show .
Wow. Thanks so much for posting. The anticipation made my heart race from the beginning. I saw this show 3 days later in Austin. The only difference was that the band members were totally covered in lights, too. My 1st FLips show was in 1990, most recent was at ACLFest.
holy shit. those lights were more than anything i ever could have expected. even in their youth as a band, they managed to amaze. i only wish they would play tracks off Clouds still, it's their best work to date.
Thank you so much for posting this. I saw this show in Chapel Hill and that moment when the lights come on is still at the top of my favorite concert moments. I don't remember hardly anything else about the show, but I'll never forget this number. The best thing is that you could see all the lights laid out when they were still off, but you had no idea how dazzling the effect would be when they all came on at once.
The hairs on the back of my neck are getting ready for the sonic assault of Ronald Jones
