  • Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi is from AFGHANISTAN

  • Rumi Mevlana is for me the most autopoietic person!

  • If you are truly interested in Rumi and Sufism I recommend you to search on google for:

    Sufi for a Month.

Sufi for a Month is a spiritual and cultural immersion experience into the sufi way and the universal spiritual teachings of Mevlana Rumi. A very unique experience....

  • you are the universe learn to love it

  • THERE IS ONLY ONE RELIGION ,,THE RELIGION OF LOVE......THERE IS ONLY ONE RACE THAT IS THE HUMAN RACE....ONE LANGUAGE ,THE LANGUAGE HEART

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD ,HE IS OMNIPRESENT, WE ALL CAME FROM GOD AND WE GO BACK , MERGE WITH HIM.

  • If you go to Google Rumi and Hafiz, a bunch of sites come up with their poems

  • Date a Asian lady # lushfmlk.info #

  • A nice poem.

  • All about worshipping yourselfs,It is so fuckin arrogant.

  • @GARABAGO meh, Its no worse than religion, and its better than doing heroin.

  • @l337pwnage yes it is!

  • @GARABAGO may the grace of our Lord touch your soul so that you do not critise what you can't understand.

  • @gmrtr First learn some English boy, maybe tnen you will understand what's the meaning in that poem.

  • @GARABAGO Maybe it is you that is "fucking arrogant"? ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS ISN'T AN ANALYSIS OF DICTIONARY DEFINITIONS OF THE WORDS IN THE POEM. AND ESPECIALLY SINCE THESE AREN'T ORIGINALLY ENGLISH POEMS, LEARNING ENGLISH DOESN'T HELP YOU UNDERSTANDING THIS ANY MORE THAN IT HAS HELPED YOU! lol

  • @GARABAGO Why the fuck shouldn't you have FAITH in yourself? So many have FAITH in GOD and they don't know if he exists, so why not have FAITH in something that does...something like YOURSELF? It's ok to believe in multiple things... but just because you believe in yourself doesn't make you arrogant... see you criticise something you really don't have any knowledge of... don't embarass yourself like that. It just shows the "ARROGANCE" in you!

  • @snooup21 The poem is just a total disaster and I was so disgusted to listen to it!

I can't believe that some individuals even like it. But again it is because you have either some kind of chemical imbalance in your brain or; you're bloody arogant!!!

  • @GARABAGO

May the grace of our Lord touch your soul so that you don't criticise that which you can't understand.

  • one of the Rumi book translation into english has been decleared the best selling book of the decade in europe.

RUMI was and is and will be forever... he was inspired of "shams tabrez" a saint....

  • Who is that "DEAR SON" ?

  • Namaste. Beautifully read.

  • nice. makes one sad to hear this stuff but it also puts us in realty. was rumi a shia or sunni

  • I'm not really a poet guy but I liked this alot. You're good! Thank you..

  • these words are so gentle why does no one listen

  • Incredible, listening to poetry allows many people to understand flaws and misunderstandings in their own lives and their interpretations of life. I love poetry now, never to be criticized again. THANK YOU GREATLY!

  • I am glad your beautiful soul enjoy it ,,

    love

    Sina

  • Beautiful.

  • Can ayone please tell me where I can get the lyrics of the Farsi version of this poem?

  • Dear Rawrosh . I be happy to email you ,please email me in my personal message box..

    peace, love ,light

    Sina

  • Fantastico!

  • lol i was wondering why she had a persian accent

  • i am a muslim, and i come from a family and cultur that are 99% sunni. i, myself, have never defined myself as sunni, shia, sufi or whatever.. i love the sufi poem and music.. i love rumi's poems, i read martin lings and frithjof schuon, and it doesn't make me a sufi... i respect everything, and arguing about what is best and what is right is just ridicolous. muslims fighting with each other about who is the best, is just embarrasing.. Selam... Shalom... Peace!

  • Oh how beautiful, dushiDD. I love the passion and colorfullness of your culture. I actually want my name in Arabic, Bryan. Fighting is wasted time! Thank-you for sharing...

  • Lovely done.

  • pretty/beautiful poem..

    love it so much!

  • @ SirianKings:

Would you like to give some reasons of not liking the Sunni's or it's just a personal opinion? :)

  • You misread my previous comment; I was referring to that irani wanker who is Shia.

  • Balkh, Afghanistan was the center of esoteric knowledge in the East.

  • rumi was a afghan

  • shut up, good for him. people like u r so annoying

  • yes Muhammad Jalaluddin maulna rumi was born in Balkh what is today Afghanistan.the Quran made his heart pure and its makes him the greatest persian Shaher

  • it is Turkey today

  • yes again Rumi was an Afghan persian muslim speaker, and no other language in thw world is closer to the Quran then persian itself. peace 2 u all and read the Quran its 4 all humanity not just muslims

  • beautiful work sina keep up the great work!

  • i have a poem made up myself ;)

a cardinal came to my window sill

to sang a tune that i knew so well

it sang your name in a harmonious tune

the air was calm, i could smell the breeze

smell the flowers and spring that came

the spring of time you are to me

    a begining, a newness a sweet harmony

like the cardinal that fortells the time

a spring it fortold that you are mine

  • what a beautiful poem , Niccollina99.... thank you for sharing .... and keep shining my friend ...

    Love and light

    Sina

  • beautiful poem keep going

  • beautiful

  • That was the most beautiful thing I ever heard.

  • well and truly

  • Sina,

I'm starting to fall in love with you!

  • "Now, you should know that Muhammad (PBUH) is the leader and guide.

As long as you don't come by Muhammad (PBUH) first, you won't reach us."

    - Mowlana Jalaluddin Rumi (RA)

"I am the servant of the Qur'an as long as I have life.

I am the dust on the path of Muhammad (PBUH), the Chosen One.

If anyone quotes anything except this from my sayings,

I am quit of him and outraged by these words"

    - Mowlana Jalaluddin Rumi (RA)

THERE IS NO Tasawwuf (Sufism) without the love of the P. Muhammad (PBUH)

  • i think this guyt must've been drunk when he wrote this.. and no im not talking about love..

  • nope wasnt drunk.. muslims dont drink alcohol. He was drunk with the spirit..

  • there is no match this saint of khudii...... hail hail

  • Dear brothers!

Please dont argue on the great men of islam. They are our heros. Whatsever , where they from, what they spoke, They are our assists. We respect all , ireespective of there lands and languages... we love them all.

  • I got two poems.

    Darkness lies in the shadow

    Light lies in the brightness

Darkness leaves a trail in light

Light leaves a trail in darkness

    Darkness kills light

    And light kills darkness.

Raindrops have the taste of tears

    But without the pain.

  • I absolutely love the background music.

    sina

  • Oh my god ,

    How increible ..

    Thank you for nice video.

  • Thanks very beautiful, always the poetry of molana rumi is fantastic, I am happy to have a great Persian poet!!!

    5***** for video....

  • he paints pictures with his words

    timeless beauty.

  • darya you don´t know anything about Maulana Jelaleddin Balchi/ Rumi he ist from Balch, from Afghanistan, upside Mazaresharif. He is an Afghan not an Iranian. Think befor you say something ... and insulting people!

  • rumi was not pashtun(afghan). Call him khorasani, Iranian, Persian , but not pashtun(afghan). Afghanistan is a new country.. few centuries old. Its like saying abu ali sina was uzbek!!, because the city where he was born is today a part of a new country named uzbekistan!!, but U know that abu ali sina was persian.

  • Seriously what is wrong with you Iranians. I try to be nice because we are neighbors and speak the same language and have the same food but you can't stop being ignorant elitists. you claim Rumi but you hate Islam. We Afghans are so much cooler than you guys we are not Elitist we have the best music which is widely sold in Farsi speaking Countries. We have people like Ahmad Zahir who's songs really define dari and the persian Language. Read about the Bakhter after eskander destroyed your empire.

  • I am nice to people from afghanistan and consider them as my brother and have helped them many times. Afghanistan has nice music and good food. Similarities in our language and festivals, history, heroes and poets etc.., not long time ago we were one country. But all these facts doesnt allow you or me to spread lies. Now tell me what was about what I typed.I told you the facts. In your response I see that you want to make difference between Persian languages. Why do you want to do that?

  • WHAT!!!

Afghan people hates us just because we are Shi'ite Muslims.

Taliban attacked us several times, but we struck back. They are nothing else than traitors!

  • I don't think anyone likes you people, specially not Middle-Easterns who are sunni based.

I still can't wrap my head around the thought of your people practicing "Sigha" and thinking they're following god's laws. LOL

  • @irandefencegroup

Khorasan was the previous name of what is now Afghanistan, its easy like that.

Balch was and is stil in AFG, so Maulana was and is stil an Afghan, if you people like this fact or not doesnt matter.

  • darya you are just a very hateful person. you claim rumi but do you listen to his poems and teachings clearly? i think you do not. he is everyones. if you are so hateful why do you listen to his beautiful poems. he is not of this world. please dont be so ignorant and call people mongols and shits. you need to be a little more kind and maybe your life will go easier. if you want to claim him go head. but he is everyones

  • Good point, but read the Iranian comments and advise them the same thing. equal critisism not favoratism.

  • Rumi , wants to remind us, WE ARE ALL ONE.

    LOVE U ALL.

    SINA

  • u call Naan for noon is it what farsi ur chines? or merci what the hell is that? it is french tashakur and rahmat are in farsi we tajiks and afghans hate u iraninas, there might be 20 procent persians in iran the rest are azari and other mongol shits who act persian.

  • you are right

  • i am ashamed of speaking the same language as u iraninas i wish u never adobtep our beautiful pure Dari, ur Parsi is so mixed with ur arab and mongol neighbours and frech lol like Merci haha go learn proper Farsi!

  • i mean 50 cent

  • Nice video to a wonderful poem. Mahalo

  • please use this space for love and light, be that light and love,

    always

  • Here, here. Life is precious and temporary. Your comment is a necessary one.

    Very best wishes

    Vita

  • it sounds like you might enjoy watching some of the video's I have posted, I invite you to check them out.

    love & light

  • Basically that shows how ignorant you are about the ancient civilizations and you live in cloud cuckoo land. You think Islam has done so much for humanity that is your opinion. We have seen the brute force of Islamic regime in Iran, and past 1400 has been the same , that is why Iranians fought against these barbarians , what ever Islam achieved it was because of its colonies, like what made a British a powerful Empire, because they conquered and looted countries one after another

  • Moride nazanain , ta be hal sedaei be in giraei va zibaei nashnide bodam , por ghodrat , jazab , gira va........ ejraye binahayat ziba ,,,, javdan bashid va poeshgh mesle hamishe I Love You

  • These things a father feels,

and I pray every father is capable of sharing

this feeling with his son, as well as his daughter.

beautiful, and thank you for the lovely pictures.

    :)

  • Persian empire was great, but as Allah swt explain in Quran, He destroys cities of sin...so its greatness was relevent in this world, in the material perspective not in the religious one. So persian proud should be questionned in this sense and we ALL should try to bare that in mind: wordly sucess is nothing compared to next life success...Salam aleikum

  • Dear Nadia alejandra... who gave you the right to judge the Persian empire... ?? Is it not the same attitude of arrogance the majority of muslim people have towards the so called unbelievers...?? The Arab-Muslim civilization stopped at Ibn Rhusd (Avaroes)...becoz this man and muslim had an openmind !! He was a muslim free thinker, but he was prevented from speeking by the now present rigid muslim awareness...after him and his era...the whole muslim emire fell in darkages !!..

  • beautiful, love the sound track aswell

  • proud to be a muslim!

  • It would be nice if he said girl too hahah an dot just boy

  • My girl and my Boy...

    A father

  • what?

  • Rumi's words are very beautiful..he is wise

  • lmao wow im luvin the fake farsi accent lol

  • IRAN and RUMI FOREVER.

  • Glorious

  • Iranian power:)

  • Proud to be persian. long live rumi:D

  • yes its surpirising for the westerner to know that he was a muslim.. I bet you ask yourselves wow this is one peaceful muslim.. lol silly people this is what Islam brings out of man! :)

  • and a role model for others, no?

  • I think with all respect to the people, they should be titled from their origins. Their original names should not be altered, changed and omitted. This is sad.

  • Proud to be an Afghan, its all because of you my King, Mohammad Dschlaleddini Balchi.

  • What is to be done, O Muslims? For I do not recognise myself. I am neither Christian, nor a Jew, nor a fire-worshipper, nor Muslim. I am not of the East, nor of the West, nor of the land, nor of the sea; I am not of Nature's mint, nor of the circling heavens. I am not of India, nor of China, nor of Bulgaria, nor of Saqsin. I am not of Iraq, nor of Khurasan. My place is the placeless and my trace is the traceless.

    ~ Jalaluddin Mohammad Rumi

  • i love u rumi, REST IN PEACE, u make us all proud to be persian

  • Proud to be Persian. cuz Rumi is a persian

  • AL-FATIHA (THE OPENING)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

    Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;

    Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

Master of the Day of Judgment.

Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

    Show us the straight way,

The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

    (ameeen)

  • ALLAHUAKBAR!!! Ameen!!! :)

  • Al-Fatiha is Arabic... Rumi is Persian...The Persian civilization is far more older than the arabic.. Without the persian influence.., the Arabs would be nothing ..

  • Dear friend, if it wasn't because of islam maybe not only the Persians but the entire World would still be in the dark ages. Rumi is a great poet, but he is an offshoot of the revolution initiated by Prophet Muhammad pbuhin the Arabian penisula.

  • I think it is your personal opinion and it is absolutely nonsense, Persia (Iran today) has 3000 years of civilizations some say up 5000. Before Islam Persia had a biggest empire mankind ever seen? Two years ago British museum displayed the artifacts and relics of the empire, Persian were first empire to use currency, writing, post, transportations by roads, carpentry, and building of huge complex building, designing complex irrigation system. do you call that "the dark ages"

  • Hello Friend, apologies for late reply. Hope this message finds u in peace! personal opinion? Pliz read my commnts b4 u u strt replyin. since truth is a double edged sword, i refrained 4m blowing my own trumpet, n produced evidences 4m intellectual giants of the Wstrn World, n none of thm r Muslims. This is not wht i say, this is what they say, n these great minds r not any Tom,Dick, or Harry 4m YouTube.

  • James Johnston, Medieval Script Shows Islam's Role in Learning "The manuscript stands as a uniquely important monument to the central role of Jews and Muslims in the spread of knowledge and learning throughout medieval Europe, as well as being possibly the earliest known example of Latin script of any kind written on paper. Sotheby's says that only four other copies of this work are known"

  • Do your research first, it is embarrassing to write something without any credible source and based that on pure emotion and arrogance You seem have very little knowledge history don't try the to mix the issue up. You have an audacity to display such contempt for Persian civilizations. 1400 years ago Persia had University called Joundi Shahpour , still exist today, our girls used to go to university , do call that Dark Ages

  • We'r only having a civilised discussion here dear frind, but it seems like words did however fluffed ur featehrs somehow. i apologise. "credible source" whn does it become credible? when one agrees wth u? i only quoted few opinions 4m Historians of the Europe, who r standing on a neutral ground, they r not muslims. read between the lines n c whoes Blowing his own trumpet! thst not how u judge history or any conflictin subject!

  • HRH Prince of Wales "Not only did Muslim Spain gather and preserve the intellectual content of ancient Greek and Roman civilisation, it also interpreted and expanded upon that civilisation, and made a vital contribution of its own in so many fields of human endeavour - in science, astronomy, mathematics, algebra (itself an Arabic word), law, history, medicine, pharmacology, optics, agriculture, architecture, theology, music."

  • First of all Charles is not an expert on Islam, he was expressing the fact, that is not a point what Islam achieved past 1400, the point is aout your sketchy and poor knowledge I repeat about Persia, you come up with such rubbish, "wasn't because of islam maybe not only the Persians but the entire World would still be in the dark ages" because you have been fed with such nonsense doesn't mean it is true. Read Persian Empire and the opinion of Persian experts like Richard Fry

  • y ru gettin upset? is this the way 2hav n academic discussion? YES! i might b wrong. lets hav a discussion, with our intellect, rationality, art of reasoning, with our brain, n not with wrds & n avalanche of pure emotion. i m a student, n this is wht some of the intellectual giants of the non-muslim world say about the islamic revolution. NOT ME! or any Tom, Dick or Harry. r u upset becoz they forgot 2mention Persia? SOrry.

  • "has 3000 years of civilizations some say up 5000". So what exactly is your point? The Hindus in India had a civilisation that goes back 15 thousand years, some Hindu says Millions of years n there were Hindu pundits also, who contributed, but it ws limited n the knowledge ws at the hands of the privileged few. Knwldge ws seen as something sacred, n was handled by handful of ppl.

  • "Razei, Ebne Sina, Khatazami, Eben Mokhnah, Khayyam" these are undoutedly some of the greatest mind mankind has produced. yes!. did they appear before or after the advent of islam? if not, do you knw their contemporaris, before the advent of islam? plizz dear friend teach me. i m a laymen, learning, 4m learnerd men of othr cultures.

  • Charles is right , Islam did achieved, as I said because of the great Persian philosopher scientists, mathematician used the Arabic language, like Razei, Ebne Sina, Khatazami, Eben Mokhnah, Khayyam. Muslims only achieved these because of the conquest of Persia with its great its civilizations which was equal to Romans and Greeks. During Cyrus great ,Persepolis was built, writing was invited, coins was used, and his human rights declarations kept in UN, girls went to university

  • Robert Briffault, in his book Making of Humanity says "the debt of our science to that of the Arabs does not only consist of startling discoveries of revolutionary theories, science owes a great deal more to the Arab culture, it owes its existence. He goes on to say "if it wasn't because of the Arab scientists, the modern industrial civilisation would never come into existence"

  • "Persia had a biggest empire mankind ever seen?" I don't know, maybe, maybe not. I am no Historian. But my friend, western intellectuals n Historians, claim that the Mongol Empire was the largest contiguous empire in world history and for some time was the most feared in Eurasia". So you n every soul hav a right to hav their own opinion, but not ur own facts!

  • ALAMINUK, Read this don't compare him with Mongols or Arab rulers: 522-486 BC -- The reign of Darius the Great marked the zenith of the Persian Empire. Upholding the tradition established by Cyrus, Darius valued the rights of all people under his rule. The following inscription appears on his tomb: By the favor of the great God I believe in justice and abhor inequity.

  • LOOK. i am here to learn. if u tell me the truth, i will accept, n i promise i will not be emotional, or strt crying wth crocodile tears. Now, Darius existed. Ok. Name me ten, great men, or scholars of Persia tht u love so dearly, before the advent of islam. I wnt to learn, so teach me history my Persian friend. All i heard 4m u is Darias, n Cyrus, n more Darius. I am sure there were more thn 30-40 yrs of Persian history.

  • What that suppose to mean," if you tell me the truth, i will accept, n i promise " I am not here to tell give any one false information what ever I say based on historical evidence and if you search the Net, or go to libraries , specially British Museum library in London you will find out .

Secondly I am not emotional as you think I am sick and tired of people who have very little knowledge about the history of Islam and constantly speaking, about Islam .

  • yes, iagree wth u, i m a layman, this is y i listen to intellectual greats, i analyse it 4m different, independant angles. u still havnt provided a single name, 4m Persia, b4 the advent of Islam. evry1 has the right 2 hv their own opinion, but not their own facts.

  • What makes you to think that what you have been told is truth and others are wrong? Because of your mindset, the religious people who are dogmatic they always trying to perpetuate that myth, that their religion is greatest and everyone else is wrong I provided ample evidence. Watch Engineering an Empire - The Persians --on YouTube by History Channe

  • i didnt say i am right. i told u i am just a layman. which is the reason y i ws listentin to intellectual giants of the western non-muslim worlds. so do i have to reiterate again?? i am trying to be patient, n still waiting for ur comment on my previous quiestions, but dear friend even patients have a limit. i dont think we can hav a dialogue with emotions attached.

  • Persia had been the birthplace of Zarathustianism, or Zoroastrianism, the world's first monotheistic religion. The religion was forged some 3,500 years ago around the philosopher-prophet Zarathustra's teachings, which emphasized personal morality and a conscious choice between good and evil. From a vision he had while wandering the hills of Iran, Zarathustra Spitama preached that there was only one universal god of good, whom he called Ahura Mazda.

  • Listen if you search the youtube Persian civilizations there is plenty of videos

Dr, David Stronach, Berkeley university "For the first time in human history, Cyrus ruler of Persia (Iran today) used his great power to improve the human condition rather than degrade it."" Something that imperial power like USA could learn from.

  • Great man existd always, n in every community. but the dark ages refer to the yr 300-1000AD. I m repeating again, name me ten cyrus or darius betwn the yr 300-1000AD, in othr wrds during the dark ages. u kp mentionin Cyrus , Darius. but so did greeks, indians/hindus, chinese, greeks (n we knw wht happen2 greek philosophers).

  • You are playing with words, first of all if you knew definitions of the term "dark age(s)" which is as a characterization of the (Early) Middle Ages in Europe and has nothing to do with the Middle East you wouldn't use such terminology to prove you ill thought comments which simply exposed your lack of knowledge about your religion which you and people like you claim has done so much for humanity.

  • i agree, term dark ages was used to refer to teh conditions in Europe. now i askd u over n over agian, wht ws the conditions of the of persia at tht time, n its contribution to the modern world? where r the great Cyrus n Darius's of Persia from the yr 300-100AD? i am still waiting. n stop making assumptions dear friend. u c, to err is to be human, but to really make a dogs breakfast, a mixed up mess, is to make assumptions!

  • Read history of Persia, I have already told you, in the modern world, American constitution, Human right declaration even nature of federal system implemented by Cyrus Dr, David Stronach, Berkeley university "For the first time in human history, Cyrus ruler of Persia (Iran today) used his great power to improve the human condition rather than degrade it."" Something that imperial power like USA could learn from.

  • The Cyrus the Great had a great influence on Thomas Jefferson and its human right declaration, which is part of the American Constitution

"The people of Babylon (Iraq today), who, against the will of the gods had suffered a yoke unsuitable for them . . ., I offered relief from their exhaustion, and ended their servitude." Cyrus Cylinder

  • dear friend, hope ur ok. u keep talkin abt Curus, n u tell me he existed 600BC. he reigned only for30 yrs. i agree wth u. but indian pundits invented numerials tht we still use 2day. "Arts n Philosophy flourished in democratic Athens, BUT many of its artists n philosphrs wer either took flight, improsoned or executed" Remembr Socrates, who ws forced to commit suicide because he encouraged free enquiry among the youth of Athens?

  • You are playing with words, first of all if you knew definitions of the term "dark age(s)" which is as a characterization of the (Early) Middle Ages in Europe and has nothing to do with the Middle East you wouldn't use such terminology to prove you ill thought comments which simply exposed your lack of knowledge about your religion which you and people like you claim has done so much for humanity.

  • hello friend, hope ur good. u still havent answerd my quistions. i am having to reiterate the sam ethng over n over again. wht happend to Persia 600BC for around 30 yrs, happend to china, india, greeks, egypt, as well, its nothing new my friend. i asked u few simple quiestions, so just go through my earlier comments n see if u can provide the material, n leave ur emotions to one side.

  • For two centaury Persians relentlessly fought against the barbaric people and finally their perseverance paid off and Persian managed to kick the invaders out and keep their language and culture, but it was too late to keep their religion.

Because of 200 years of sever hardship Persian never recovered and until today they are fighting to regain their dignity and true cultural identity

  • Ur complaining n crying wth croodile tears, becoz ancient persia ws invaded, by a Powerful force, but persians hav bn at it for since time immemorial. Who invaded Egypt? Until kicked out unceremoniously, not only 4 looting their land, but also destrying their religion, stealing their sacred texts. Don't forget how the Ionian ppl ws crushed, n thn the European Greeks. Finnaly defeated n shamed by in the battle of Marathon, n Salamis. Persian dreams ws also erased by Alex the Great too.

  • you are dead wrong about Islam. I can writh a University level thesis with solid evidence to support that Christianity and other religion are more violent and brutal than Islam ever was. Thesis---- during the the period when Muslims controlled spain it was a plural society and everyone was allowed to practice their own faiths. there was great institutions of Math, science philosophy and so on. when the christians took over they slaughtered all the non-christian.

  • In these delightful and deeply moving words

I feel only the immediacy of a love

    that transcends all discourse

on what has been, or can ever befall

    Love and Peace,

    John

  • For two centaury Persians relentlessly fought against the barbaric people and finally their perseverance paid off and Persian managed to kick the invaders out and keep their language and culture, but it was too late to keep their religion.

  • It is not my desire that the weak man should have wrong done to him by themighty....Darius' goal was to be a great law-giver and organizer. He structured the empire under the satrapy system (similar to national and local governments). Darius( Cyrus)built many roads, ports, banking houses (the word "check" comes from Old Persian), elaborate underground irrigation systems and a canal to link the Nile to the Red Sea (an early precursor of the Suez Canal).

  • Thats fine, if this how u tell me, i agree. You are not answering my quiestions. I never said civilisation never existed in Persia. It did, n so did the chinese NOT 600BC, but 2,500 BC, when they invented ink, tea and silk, alphabets etc. So its not only exclusive to the Persians. You did not answer my quiestions. Not even one. You sound like n angry, upset young man.
