Remember playing a TR3 demo on PS1 years ago, and it was this level, I remember getting to this part when you find (and go inside) a UFO

Am I the only one who gets this eerie "all alone" feel from the TR games? Similar to Half-life in that way

Tomb Raider 3 has great level designs, especially in Nevada. It's just beautiful, yet dangerous.

@Willy2537 strange, because the rest of the level is the same as in this video. i played a demo version for psx years ago where you begin the level like in high security compound, but when you exit from the prison cell the level continues like the level in this video. maybe it's a beta version of the map or something.

@m4rk90me If it's the demo, then yes. It should be different. The Area 51 in demo is slightly different from the one in the full game. But still, that's a pretty genius level design to look like a top secret US military base with the graphics in that era.

Here, in yours videos, everything seems to be less difficult than while I'm playing by myself. Which time do you play? And, no matter if I watch your walkthrough after or before, I still have shivers (even if I'm playing 4th, 5th or more, even if - my first time was when I was a few years old kid), even though Core's TR is 10 and more years old!

Don't leave the second guard reach the controls on the wall, the corridor will be blocked by lazers like the previous one!

The scariest level in the game, particularly due to the ambient noises, and thinking something is going to jump out at you when there's nothing there.

Tomb Raider 3 is really polarizing. People complain that it has no tombs, and they cite this level as an example. Too bad this level happens to be my second most favorite in the game. :X Funny that.

Ah, finally a Tomb Raider walkthrough that's light enough to see! One note, though: as it's a walkthrough and Youtube's screen is a bit small and blurry, maybe it's worth adding a notation about the lasers you have to avoid? I know about them, but to someone unfamiliar with this level they might just think you're jumping/crawling randomly.

I won't be doing any of these as I don't own TR1, I completed TR4 but with great difficulty (therefore the walkthroughs wouldn't be particularly good!) and on TR5 I could never get past the first level (Streets of Rome or something). As a result after TR3 I may end up doing Legend or Underworld.
