  • Super nice pistol. Great quality, accuracy and reliabilty. No reservations at all recommending this pistol, the price is amazing.

  • a copy of beretta storm

  • I just bought the 9mm 8000 series it's a great gun and at a great price 334.00

  • How much is it

  • Such a good looking gun, just looks like its going to feel good in hand and is ergonomic. Never shot one though :(

  • lol light recoil my ass, i could practically hear the guy crying

  • I saw a video of the up close inspection of the machining and it was not a first class job but non of the missed details in the machining impact the performance of the weapon so....

  • One of the most crappiest pistols out there on the market. (Talking about the 9mm version) It's a medium frame pistol with a compact barrel yet it weights like a fucking land mine. The grip looks retarded because they've extended it to cater 15 rounds which makes it even more uncomfortable to carry. It's not accurate and shoots horrible at just 15 meters and it's just a POS to carry. Seriously, can someone come up with the advantages of owning one? I'm curious.

  • @AnthraxPG Considering the positive reviews on this gun outweigh the negative reviews by maybe 100 to 1, I'd say very many people have come up with advantages to owning one. The accuracy of yours (if you actually own one), must be a fluke, as all reliable weapons have their "lemons". But judging my your use of the phrase "One of the most crappiest", I'm guessing you might be mixing is up with an airsoft platform.

  • turn 21 in 3 months, cant wait

  • wonderful pistil for a nice price

  • Hahahaha, it looks like the gun is gonna come flying out of the guys hands at any time.

  • So this is what the Gamo PT80 is modeled after. Cool.

  • K, havnt seen this vid in a while but jackass responses bring me back, k cool video. Great gun good price. Bad shooter on the video. The shooter looks like hes shooting a desert eagle .44. If i was selling a gun and had a video I'd have someone who has good mussle control. Look at the guy in the swat uniform he's closing one eye!!! Horrible video as far as sales representation. I would love to have oe of these guns though I think quality and value are at a high here....

  • hello....i just bought this handgun and found it to be very accurate, dashing, handy and really very presentable.....i friend of mine has a glock, but speaking honestly i find stoeger to be more beautiful and presentable......

  • I thought Beretta was made the Cougar.

  • @thejmeister88 They sold the rights to Stoeger . I believe they're made in Turkey.

  • @pveg65 Close but no cigar. Beretta Holding actually owns Beretta, Stoeger, Benelli, Franchi, and all subsidiaries of those companies. Beretta actually shipped the original machinery to Stoeger to produce the gun. You purchase a Stoeger Cougar and you get a Beretta Cougar with Stoeger stamped on it. Not like Beretta SOLD the plant in Brazil to Taurus and now you get a PT 92 that is a reproduction of a Beretta 92.

  • @thejmeister88: Stoeger is Beretta's sister company. So you're pretty much buying a Beretta. They're both subdivisions of Benelli. Like Chevy and GMC.

  • That .40 has kick HAAAAAAA Shit stopper, you can hunt bor with it, blow there eye balls out. you can fire two 9mm or one 40. will do the same...id rather fire one shot!

  • i got my cougar today and its a 9mm and it has that mutch recoil. i don't know if its because im shooting hollow points. but i tried some other ammo and it was weaker.

  • The guy has to be firing a 40 there's no way that's a 9mm.. I have the 40 and it does have a lot of recoil my gf hates shooting it I love it though it's accurate feels good in your hands and it's heavier than it looks. I'm gonna get my gf a glock 26 I hear glocks have very low recoil.

  • Can you put a 8357 barrel in an 8040 or is it too small? I know it's a 9mm barrel but the rest of it should line up. Just getting some opinions.

  • sence when is 15 high capacity? Thats sub standard lately seeing as even rugers handguns come with 17 rounds . Most sigs and glocks come with 15 i think in the 40 cal to.. I think anyway. I fIm wrong someone please correct me. Either way It should say standard capacity.

  • This pistol definitely doesn't look like it has "light recoil"...

  • any way to make these things DAO?

  • Got my 9mm Stoeger Cougar a few days ago. It is my first gun, 400 rounds in 2 days and not a single jam or misfire!

  • I got my Compact Beretta Cougar 8045 back in the mid 90's, before they sold it off to Stoeger. The 8045 Cougar is hands down better than the Glock, HK45, Sig, etc. in my opinion. The Cougar just a more solid look and feel than all those other service weapons. Seriously, once you hold a cougar you won't want any other pistol.

  • @viper8red Not to be rude but Beretta Holding owns Stoeger they didnt sell anything to Stoeger.

  • actually stoeger is owned by beretta, they discontinued the cougar & sent all the original machinery to their stoeger plant in turkey, exact same gun made on the exact same machines when they was stamping them with beretta.

they're only making the 9mm and 40 in F config though.. there is a 45 & .357sig that was also made under beretta name along with some other variants like inox.

got mine for 330, been looking to buy another but can't find them now.

beretta stamped guns are about 200 more.

  • Got mine at Cabelas

  • they are 3 kind of Cougar Pistol they look all the same for me i only know one is much smaller but that is all i know about it

  • Just got one(9mm) yesterday for $399, I cannt wait to test it out. lol

  • stoeger is propriety of benelli, benelli is propriety of bretta!!

  • Yeah, Beretta seems to own EVERYBODY'S ass now. The Stoeger is a great bargain and I'm certainly considering one in 9mm.

  • I got mine for $399, recieved it on Monday, I'm totally pleased with it. I'm hoping to do a personal review of it soon, however it would be a newb's review since this is my first gun, lol. Overall though, it's a great gun! I have no complaints about it!

  • whenever she says Stouger it made me think of Stouffers....macaronii and cheese....shit im hungry....

  • lol

  • It's funny how much it kicks when this guy fires it, it must be his "stance" when I first took my Cougar to the range it had much less recoil then I expected, felt like shooting a 9mm. Great pistol, Great price, ...I guess the point I'm trying to get across is it's nice.

  • I agree, great pistol. Awsom price for around 300.

I got the 8000 by bro got i think the 8040 which is the 40. The action is a little smoother with the nine tho and they kick about the same, i think its because of the inter-locking rotating barrel.

  • I want one, badly... I shooted the 8040 once, and fell in love with it, but I like the 9mm availability and affordability (to practice). The Stöeger Cougar in one of the best deals in a handgun out there. That and the PT1911 from Taurus.

  • 8040 . . .perfect gun for the price. . . accurate as any . . .Awesome carry weapon . . . cant beat it!

  • does anybody have any idea what the blue cup with the Stoeger symbol is for?

  • I believe it is just to prevent smashing of your case that it came in. Thats all I could think of .

  • I think your supposed to shoot it when you open up the case for good luck.

  • Pmoua101, the shooter they showed is "Weak Wristed" the gun compared to other 9mm and 40. S&W has less recoil felt, notably I have heard putting 150-200 rounds through it Softens the springs giving it even less kick. Read abit before you judge off of one poor shooters handling of the firearm.

  • No shit! They should get a real shooter to do thier vids...geeze give him a .45 the recoil would make him smack his self in the head with the muzzle.

  • @unvun Ahahaha I was thinking what was wrong.

  • @unvun ug, most .40s actually kick MORE than .45s smart one. The size of the bullet compared to the materials needed to make it reliable make it lighter than .45 acp automatics and give .40 automatics more recoil. Not to mention a relaxed shooter is more accurate than a rigid one. Please know what you're talking about before calling someone out.

  • @RedDragonAirsoft Maybe you should try shooting a real gun, not just your gay little airsoft before calling out an experienced shooter?

  • @unvun Maybe you should actually check my videos for firearm videos showing I own many real firearms including a concealed carry, P99, you stupid shitbag

  • @RedDragonAirsoft Maybe you can have your gay lil airsoft buddies watch your videos. Real people have better things to do than waste time watching queer videos from faggets like you LOL!!!

  • @unvun Gay little airsoft buddies meaning clackamas swat department buying KWA Sig P226s, KWA M4A1s, and ICS MP5s for training? Yea these aren't little toys, they're professional training devices fucktard.

  • @RedDragonAirsoft K you keep telling your self that devil bot HHAHA

  • @unvun they should get a real shooter huh? hahah.. go drink a glass of warm milk and get some sleep.

  • @tomsokoli umm ok LOL

  • @unvun Ignorance at its best. Its a 40 S&W. What do you expect the recoil to be like? a 32 lr! I have that exact gun he is shooting and thats about right. .40 S&W is not a small round (I would know as I am staring at a box of them). Go to a gun range b4 you make a stupid comment like that.

  • @tjaydatnugga a fourty cal is snappy but manageable. After shooting so many you can controll it pretty well. The 40 is snappier than a 45.

  • @runhorun It sure is.

  • Dam that sure is a lot of recoil!!! I think I pass!!!

  • i fired about 600 runds from this piece, it never stucks and is to good,,, though i even fired the cheapest ammo!!!! great,,,passed !!!!!!!!!....88

  • 14/88

  • That guy is so limp wristed

  • How much is this?

  • Just got one! I ran $419.99 at Bass Pro Shops. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but looks like it will perform well! ; )

  • I really like this gun it in a way kind of resembles the Beretta 92D

  • helloooooooooo people

i bought this stoeger 9mm few months back and i fired almost 200 runds but the sad news about this pistol is " rotary barrel stuck sometime. then it need to open it up and put some anti rust or oil :-(

my pistol is with black recoil spring mount and i saw the same pistol in silver aswell ????????????????????

  • rotary barrel got its own highs and lows, the best thing is to always keep the barrel and trigger oiled, as for the rust or jamming then i only suggest WD40 oil spray which is far better and cheaper then so called big brand oils. just field strip the weapon, at least once a month as well as after every shooting session, blast the oil spray on every part, leave it for 10 to 20 minutes and then gently clean it while leaving tiny amount of oil in and outside of the rotary barrel n in trigger.

  • i jsut got 1 today, its a 40, fuckin nice

  • @NKVDdevaint1 how much did you pay for

  • @tweak114 i think it was about 480

  • 15 rounds? Thats plenty...

  • Please someone make a video on how to fieldstrip and clean this gun.

Also, I just bought one at Academy Sports and Outdoors and it only had one magazine.

Any suggestions on how to get that extra magazine?

  • Stoeger should have hired someone for their video that didn't limp wrist every shot.

  • Agreed, especially since one of the Cougar's strongest selling points is the rotary barrel that's supposed to diminish recoil.

  • I was just going to say! :o

  • but how else could they make it look uber 1337 powerful for all of the gamer tards that troll youtube while their FPS servers are down. you know...the kind that argue about guns with real soldiers and operators like myself cause they got a better education on the pc than in ranger school

  • Stoeger? Isn't that a Beretta Cougar 8000?

I'm confused..I thought Beretta discontinued the Cougar 8000 some years ago..

I love mine, super acurate gun!

  • Beretta sold the manufacturing license to Stoeger. Can U make a stripping and maintenance video of your piece? Much appreciated.

  • i agree with you

  • Fuck, how come nobody rates this? This is good fun we have here.
