@WTFguides for bosses, generally the longsword is the best bet unless you're 99 attack with overloads and turm max gear. But if you have all that then rapier is better. For just slayer and pking the rapier is best.

@minermax4444 Yes. after 10 hours of combat it needs to be repaired. I belive when you first buy it it has 2 hours remaining. Its like 2m to recharge with only cash. not sure about cash+tokens.

It indeed is as you say, but most slayer monsters are weak to stab rather dan slash attacks. Also a longsword is a little slower than whip and rapier. In pvp I can understand you'd choose for ls.
