I have a few idea's for your game.First I think that the aliens that kidnapped peach were actally being mindcontrolled and at the end of each world you fight one of the aliens and once you beat one of them they are now longer mindcontrolled and join your group and on world 9 you fight the evil alien that mindcontrolled the others.Also a type of power up could be time travel were if you die you get a redo but it does not take any lives but you can only do it five times per power up.

the magnet flower would be a good power up cuz it will concentrate more on gravity. u shake the wii remote to switch positive and negative mario. some platforms will be only with icons of + and -. if mario stays as negative mario he can only be in negative platforms but postive only postive platforms. but if mario is postive and the platform is negative mario will be sent into a black hole and mario dies.

Anyways, here are ideas you could try out:

(1) Sonic Adventure 3

(2) Sonic Chronicles 2: Eggman Empire (takes place directly after the ending of the first game and it would have to be on the wiiu).

(3) Star fox 64 2 (a much more faitful sequel to 64): it would retcon Adventure and Assult out of the time, rewrite Krystal's backstroy, and Krystal is no longer Fox's love interest.

(4) Metroid Dread (fusion sequel)

Don't get hit by Titan's physical attacks, and go in and get out of the water quickly when he begins to bounce all over the place (refrence to the large koopa boss from YI), since the water can be electrocuted by the electric shell.

Second phase: after enough hits, he will sank all but one island. Now you have to be a lot more careful and quickly jump onto another island, when it rises from the water (since the previous one will sink). He dosen't do his bounce attack anymore.

Star name: Shocking Koopa

It's revenge of a electric variant koopa, but it is noticibly diffrent. In the intro cutscene, Mario lands on an island and sees other islands surrounded by water. In front of him is the Titan koopa, who removes his electric shell, which turns out to be automatic. The koopa himself is a powerful looking foe, even without his shell. Lure the shell to run into Titan Koopa, avoid the water (can only be jumped over by dash jump)...

Boss Idea: King Chop-king of the chain chomps, is chained up and gets loose. your on a high surface and it comes up trying to eat you. run and fire the rocket at its crown so it will fall of and get distracted. the chain will come your way-slow speed then medium when mad, then fast when enraged, if you don't jump on it, the chain spins around so you can have another chance. then you will get a ??? suit that makes you stronger-Strongmario suit. you then slam the chomp into the eltric wall.

Superstar Suit-invinciblity for a limited time-item is a star with the color of space-white dots representing stars.

Gravity Suit: can withstand no gravity and high gravity zones (used most in the electricty areas.) you cannot jump high in this suit. the item is a green boot (from the old mario game!)

Bomb-omb suit- can throw bombs, such as link. you have a warioware bomb symbol on you-easter egg lol.

Part 2: And use the wind to uncover stuff like Flurrie from Paper Mario TTYD, or the Gust Bellows from Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. And Bowser can only eat it because Yoshi can't eat Hard Glass. Bowser's 2nd Powerup: A Hard Glass ball of Ice Bowser could Freeze enemies and stuff. And Yoshi can't eat because its glass. And Bowser refuses to eat fruit and the water. I Strongly agree with your ideas. You make these sound very convincing. Powerups for Mario should be all from Galaxy 2(as you said)and Red Star from Galaxy 1. Powerups for Yoshi should be all from Galaxy 2 and a Shining Special Water drop, that makes Yoshi turn Dark Blue and could Spit out Water for a while. Powerups for Bowser should be a Glass Ball of Wind, which Bowser can Chew on and break the glass with his shap teeth and exhale out alot of air to blow enemies away... End of Part 1

for an enemy idea, you could have a mouser, but with armor so he can't hurt himself with bombs. You would have to get close enough to spin attack him, and the jump on his exposed bottom. It could be a regular enemy (with only 1 hp) or a boss (with 3 hp, probably for one of the earlier worlds or something) depending on what you want kody. And I agree with SetFree. A flood shroom would be cool, where you shoot like jets of water or bubbles.
