He also said that the expansion would be a good time to introduce new characters to use and bring back old ones we loved. Since the Wizard,Barb, and Demon hunter resemble characters from diablo 2 this leaves only a few options....

@joebofling it may be a bit late, But blizzard will always use your name, not "to all beta testers" its just a scam to get your log in details. Also any beta invites are on your battlenet account. So if you had one, it would be there.

@amperro I have not played it, but I would say no, imagine what kind of not-political-correct-hell they would find themselves in if they did that. I don't even think the hitbox would be any different neither, even if the model would be. Maybe all dudes have the same hitbox? That would be dull.

I dont think this daiblo 3 is going to be that great, this remind me of dungeon siege 3 and DS3 was awful compare to DS. Even DS2 gotten worst. I was told many fans rather stick with Diablo 2+LoD and few other games. The auction house was a bad idea!

at first glance, i wasn't too psyched about the witch doctor but after playing around with the skill calculator and seeing all the spells he got later on and the modifications with runestones...they're like this badass cross between a necromancer and a warlock that is just begging to be tried out a bit on release of the game.
Okay, so the Witch Doctor is apparently base on a South African, the Barbarian most likely on a North European, the Monk on an Eastern European, the Wizard on an East Asian, but what about the Demon Hunter? Is she like a Western European?

I know its a hacknslash game but... I hope difficulty can be increased in release.
Whats the point of DPS rating on weapons if mobs die in 1 or 2 swings?
Also, is sound quality good? you hear NPC speech through all channels or in real surround?

can anyone tell me if one has to have zombie dogs in the active skills in order to keep them summoned?
so to clarify: I summon dogs, i then replace the zombie dog spell with an attack, will the dogs unsummon? any help is greatly appreciated.:)

It's funny how some ppl complain about the graphics. Diablo games were never about the graphics, but the athmosphere. Diablo 2 wasn't a big step forward, especially not in graphics, and the gameplay mainly remained the same, as in the first one. They introduced a kinda new character level progression with the skill trees, so it had the feeling of a "this is something new". They are doing the same with the fixed skill progression, and runestone variations. Ppl just don't like change.

this skills look like the suck, the graphiocs look like World of Warcraft crap, the items look crap, Leoric was already defeated in the first game, the Witch Doctor is a lousy knockoff for necro, the color is too cheerful for the forsaken world of Sanctuary if anyone here really played Lord of destruction, and the person playing sucks horribly.
way to fuck this up blizzard. this and freakin Starcraft 2.

@Greatcheezer2021 You're an idiot. The skills finally look different from most other RPG's. Diablo with 3d graphics? MUST BE WOWZOMGTHISSUCKS. The colour is cheery? You serious? It's midnight, it's misty and you can't see a damn thing. Just because there's some colour in places doesn't mean its ruined. Also, you'd rather have the same old necro than a witch doctor? Try harder, troll.

nice to watch. witch doctor wouldn't be my first choice of character, but it was my first click to see a video. don't have a beta invite so i'll be waiting when it's released to mainstream.

I hope it's just the video... but to me it looks like there's a "fog" around the outskirts of the 'field of view' and I'm hoping its just the encoding of the actual video, or the contrast is set to high or something.

@lubbo There was never a stamina bar to begin with dude. Diablo 1 never had it, pointless to add it in D2... I'm really glad about that reduction.

I dont think this daiblo 3 is going to be that great, this remind me of dungeon siege 3 and DS3 was awful compare to DS. Even DS2 gotten worst. I was told many fans rather stick with Diablo 2+LoD and few other games. The auction house was a bad idea!

@Dabombz06 so far what I've seen, I bet when I'll play the full game I would like it, but just that alone feels a bit strange considering what Blizz did to it in this long time. I mean I understand the constant internet connetion, online real money transaction crap they are pulling, but I don't like that after all these years, it doesn't look as insane as it should by now.It'll be a fun game no doubt,but how long will its charm last like D1 and D2 had, I doubt about it.

@redindus69 if the witch doctor looked as beautiful as the inventory portrait, which is drawn by one of the deviantart guy on the website,she would look much hotter. I want high quality character models. Let's hope they beef up the grpahics for high end pc in full game.

at first glance, i wasn't too psyched about the witch doctor but after playing around with the skill calculator and seeing all the spells he got later on and the modifications with runestones...they're like this badass cross between a necromancer and a warlock that is just begging to be tried out a bit on release of the game.

Okay, so the Witch Doctor is apparently base on a South African, the Barbarian most likely on a North European, the Monk on an Eastern European, the Wizard on an East Asian, but what about the Demon Hunter? Is she like a Western European?
Truly, this is most crucial information that must be cleared up or I will nevar EVAR buy teh gaem. :/
